KFC — Restaurant in Rochdale

Went there last night and if it wasn't for the good food, I would not be going back. As my husband & I entered with my 5 year old child, we had to search hard for a table to sit at. Not because it was busy, there were only 5 other customers eating there, but all of the tables were filthy. As my daughter & I sat waiting for our order to be processed a young KFC worker slowly walked up to the bin, took the lid off and placed it on the nearby table, changed the bin bag and then replaced the bin lid. Tables should be kept for eating off and not to rest a bin lid on. On looking around, all tables were sticky, covered in trays, or tissues and pieces of food. The young KFC worker then cleared trays from a couple of the tables and walked off. The tables were still not wiped. The floor was also another disaster waiting to happen. My child unfortunately knocked over the drink onto the floor making a large wet slip hazard. I must say that the drink was quickly replaced by the KFC staff but the wet floor remained. It actually remained very wet and untouched for over 30 minutes and was still there when we left. The young KFC worker who previously collected trays actually stepped over it 8+ times. Even my child wanted to clean it up with tissues. The floor of the whole seating area was scattered with tissues, food and straws etc. On our way out the hygiene sticker on the door stated it had a rating of 5 (very good). I can't imagine when they were last inspected but if I were a hygiene and safety inspector they would not be receiving such a positive rating. I wouldnt eat here after what i experienced, opened nearly an hour late coz they never cleaned the night before. Staff are abusive and nasty. Store manager is clueless and wouldnt pursue my complaint over the staff slamming the drive through window on me and instead rang the police because i took photos of the chicken from night before under the tables. When i asked him why it hadnt been done he basically said he can clean in when ever he wants he doesnt have to follow KFC hygiene procedure. Absolutely disgusting would admit to anything i pulled them up on. The guy at the till when i did finally open told me he wasnt going to serve me because i was angry and i would need to calm down... mate were way past that now how do i really know what there going to serve me in there if there that abusive at the start. I would put there names on here but they took there name tags off and wouldn't give me there names to pass to head office as i wasn't happy. To be fair the lad at the till was reasonable with me and i was angry but the store manager is a fat mess and the young girl at the drive through window was completely out of order for slamming the window and nearly jamming me fingers. When i asked for the store manager to complain about her. He completely took her side and rang the police. Moral of the story is the staff think they can speak to you how they want and think its ok to assault customers and clean when ever they want to. Took this up to head office as managers are retarded and cannot see the problem.

I paid around £60 for a delivery order on uber eats. All of the food was completely burnt on the outside and didn’t taste nice so I took the chicken off the burger and gave it to my dog whole. I then took apart the second chicken burger and cut it up to feed to my other dog (he’s a puppy) and I noticed it was pink on the inside.

I contacted KFC on the phone - I didn’t ask for a refund or anything, I just wanted them to know that they’re sending out raw food and to be careful & the guy didn’t listen, told me he needed to check cctv and will call back in a minute. He then calls me back & asks me again, what the issue was with the food (he didn’t listen the first time, clearly) and proceeds to say “well why has no one else rang about raw chicken” and “it was above 63 degrees when cooked so it’s fine. Basically telling me I’m lying.
