A Perfect Burger Experience

I recently visited Smash Official in Rochdale, and after seeing a few locations scattered about, I was eager to find out what all the fuss was about. I decided to start simple and ordered a single patty to really judge the quality.

From the first bite, I was impressed. The burger was perfectly cooked – juicy, flavorful, and had just the right amount of char from the smash technique. The simplicity allowed the quality of the beef to really shine through, and the seasoning was spot on.

As for the sides, the chips were a pleasant surprise – fresh, crispy, and golden. They perfectly complemented the burger without feeling too heavy.

What really stood out was the attention to detail in both the burger and the sides. Everything tasted fresh, and the textures were just right. Smash Official definitely lived up to the hype, and I’ll be returning for...

Food options looked good in terms of value and choice.

We ordered loaded smash boxes and the signature drip burger. The place was clean and service was fast and efficient.

The main down sides were, the quality and thickly cut donner. It was just a poor tasting option and the chicken wings mught as well have been pigeon wings as they were ultra small, shrivelled up and super dry. The sauces/marinades were decent... but again, the meat bases were just bad.

The smash burgers were all tasty and decent, but again the stuff around it wasn't, whether it's the naga donner or plain fries... just areas that need improvement. Need to up the game with all the other options round the corner.
