Rochdale Town Hall is a magnificent example of Victorian Gothic architecture, standing as a testament to the rich history and cultural heritage of Rochdale. This iconic building, with its stunning stained glass windows, intricate stone carvings, and a towering clock, is not only an architectural marvel but also a beloved local landmark.

One of the town hall's most intriguing contemporary connections is its role in the hit TV series "Peaky Blinders." The grand, historic interiors of Rochdale Town Hall provided a perfect backdrop for the gritty, dramatic scenes of the show, capturing the atmosphere of the early 20th century with remarkable authenticity. Fans of "Peaky Blinders" will recognize the building from key scenes, adding an extra layer of excitement and historical significance to their visit.

Whether you're an architecture enthusiast, a history buff, or a "Peaky Blinders" fan, Rochdale Town Hall offers a unique and enriching experience. Its blend of historical grandeur and pop culture relevance makes it a must-visit...

My god the acoustics in this place are terrible. The DJ sounds like one of the fairground DJ’s who controls the Walters. Just don’t do music here please, my head feels like it’s going to cave in and my ears are going to bleed. Don’t even get me started on the food 🤢 Nice looking building though (hence the two stars instead of one) but zero points for the Peaky Blinders experience - Were the Black Eyed Peas around in the 1920’s? Look, we get you need to get money for the up-keep of this place but why not offer a more authentic experience, a bit of a tour of the rooms where some of the Peaky Blinders episodes were filmed or something? That might have made all the difference. A lot of people made a load of effort to dress up for this experience only to be disappointed. And what is with this dessert? Felt like I was eating a Brillo pad - That’s the only dessert I’ve had that will actually clean the toilet in the morning! The one and only Roulette table was fun to watch, too crowded to have a go on which I was looking forward...

Wow wow wow! This Town Hall is AMAZING! Beautiful mix of Arts & Crafts, Gothic... You name it. Spread over 3 floors, it's huge - and some is still being renovated.

Would recommend the tour at £8 it was worth it! Guides are amazing: great mix of history, stories and humour. Thank you Carol and gentleman (sorry didn't catch your name)

There's a small lift to make floors accessible if in a wheelchair or with mobility issues. Chairs to sit on in most rooms. Mayor's office has robes and mayoral hat to wear for photo fun...

They have a community rooms on 3rd floor via a lift to hire which are cavenous, if echoy.

Cafe looked great and was recommended by several people who went straight there after the tour - but we didn't have time to...

A few days ago I had the privilege of visiting the charming Rochdale Hall Town, and I must say that it was a truly enriching experience. From the moment my feet touched the floor of this picturesque building, I was immediately captivated by its historic charm and welcoming atmosphere. The tour of the new and reborn Rochdale Hall Town was a truly unforgettable experience that left a lasting impression on me. Its combination of history, innovation and cultural vitality makes it a must-see destination for any traveler looking to discover the best of England in the 21st century. I highly recommend this tour to those who wish to witness this exciting rebirth.
