Market West Coffee — Restaurant in Rochford

I would give Market West Coffee a 5 star rating if not for a few issues.

I found myself saying to my other half its a great coffee shop, and their coffee is impeccable, that happens to sell cake, and this is one of the issues. I think the cakes they do are from Wilmas, who are a great cake shop who sells coffee. The cakes are left open to the air and consequently, although evidently fresh, any cake left uncovered naturally goes a bit dry, which is what i experienced with my slice of victoria sponge.

The coffee, as stated was spot on, although they only had one option for sugar free syrup, which was a tad disappointing.

The final issue is the fur babys in the shop, yes i know its the new norm for everyone to accept animals in cafes etc but my other half has a sensitivity to pet hairs so its not the best environment for her.

Will i be back, yup def although maybe only for the coffee and probably not with my other half.

Oh cost was £13'ish for 2 coffees with alternative milk and one...

I have been going to market west for some time now. Well, what can I say ? It’s undoubtedly the best coffee around - I’m a huge coffee snob!

The atmosphere is cool and relaxed the decor is lovely! It’s very clean, service is great and everyone is welcomed - including dogs!

The staff are so friendly Andy, Ayesha and the other members are just great! - it’s more than just a takeaway coffee for me it’s an all round encompassing experience!!!

So I recently thought I'd discovered the best coffee elsewhere, but these guys have trumped it! And even better - it's on our doorstep! The current signage makes it a little tricky to spot without knowing its whereabouts already, so be sure not to miss it as we have until recently.

The coffee served is fairly priced and beyond compare to chain offerings, the environment is clean and spacious, and the service is friendly and welcoming. Dog friendly, too. Plenty of delicious looking sweet treats available which have yet to try, but will.
