Firstly the takeaway is nice, but unfortunately the one star is for the delivery driver. I didn't order anything yet she turned up at my house with food and my 10y daughter answered the door. The woman said thank you as she got in car and drove off. She didn't give my daughter a chance to say this isn't ours. I tried ringing the takeaway over 40 times to say it had been delivered wrongly but couldn't get through. An hour and a half later the same driver turned up at my door telling me my daughter had said it was ours. I do not appreciate someone accusing my daughter of being a liar because of their mistake. I managed to get through to takeaway after she came 2nd time and I complained about her and to be fair to them they were very apologetic but unfortunately I won't be ordering from here again as I do not want this rude woman at my door again when it was her mistake not...

Family owned with both mum & dad working the kitchen at busier times. Service has improved with the grumpy miserable chap who took orders having left. Gets very busy on Friday & Saturday Standard so allow plenty of time when you order, but usually a fast and efficient service. Standard English Chinese takeaway with typical menu, but all of these types of places cook to a formula. There are some gems in there. Don't be put off, though. This is an above average Chinese takeaway. The quality is consistently good, and portion sizes are generous. We enjoy the beef with chilli & blackbean. The char siu or bbq pork is particularly good one of the best I've had, & can recommend the sweet & sour mixed balls. If you want a Chinese takeaway you will not get a better one than @ timbos just off Rochford town square& they deliver for free locally you will not be disappointed trust me I av had some awful meals in the past as I am on a health kick I only av a Chinese meal every 2 months if you use them try the house special mixed meat chow mien & the house special mixed meat curry which includes king prawns chicken beef & pork & get egg fried rice this is my very personal recommendation it's effin pukka way 2 go Jack...
