Appaling Pizza from Pappa Johns, Sea Rd Bexhill. 29/10/23 We have used Domonos for the last 15 years in Bexhill without any issuie at all, unfortunatly tried Pappa Johns! What a complete waste of money, also a lot to be said for the hygiene! I ordered a Hawaiian stuff crust, plus chicken wings! for collection. On arrivial, the female member of staff was handling a pizza dough, she then picked up card machine, sorted out tranaction with my credit card, picked up the boxs, handed the Pizza, chicken wings over the counter, immediatly returning to handling the dough! no thought of washing, or even wiping her hands.
On arrivail at home, open the chicken wings to hunt the chicken! I have seen more meat on a sparrows leg! As far as the Pizza is concerned, foul! the appearance was no better, it looked like minced tin dog food!, with 7 shreds of pinapple scattered around the top, the edge stuff crust was partly hollow! nothing but a cavility filled with air!. Although looks alone was very off putting, upon tasting had no taste at all, really brand, foul. I immedialy called the store, informed manager not on site, requested to send email, photos, as manager not in until Monday. II sent email with varoius photos, gave it until 19.00 Monday then phoned, the manager informed me he had been busy, hence had no chance to look at emails! I then took the time to explain! it was obviuous the manager was not listening, as he offered a credit of a free pizza! I explained it was the worse pizza I had ever seen, tasted, requested a refund in full. The manager stated he could not authorise, but would get head office to do with 48 hours, again phoned 2 days later, informed manager not on site, phone tomorrow! (although relayed my contact details again, manager did not return any calls!) Finally spoke to manager who assured me head office was dealing with the refund in full. I clearly stated if the matter was not sorted out with 7 days I would place a review of the complete saga, report to head office, manager replied thats up to you. It is now the 19th November, 20 days sinse purchase, still no contact from head office or refund.
I have informed Dominos Pizza Bexhill of my mistake of using Pappa Johns of Bexhill, I have no issue in writing a review for Dominos accordingly, warning all non dog food pizza eaters to avoid Pappa Johns at all costs! DO NOT USE!
Suggest if you are not a lover of minced dog food, sparrow legs as chicken wings DO NOT USE PAPPA JOHNS, Pizzs Foul, Bones for Chickemn Wings, un hygienic staff, a manager who has no contact with head office. Could have very easily caught food poisoning through cross contamination! and that was in front of customers! One can only wonder what is goiung on behind the counter!

Iād like to express my disappointment with the service and food I received from Dominoās Pizza Bexhill-on-Sea this evening.
While the delivery itself was prompt and without issue, the pizza arrived tepid at best ā certainly not at a safe or acceptable serving temperature. From a food safety perspective, this is alarming. If a food probe had been used, Iām confident the temperature would have failed to meet Health & Safety standards and the food would have had to be disposed of.
I called the store at 20:49, just eight minutes after delivery at 20:41, to raise my concerns. Unfortunately, the response I received only made matters worse.
Hereās a summary of the key issues:
Food Safety Violation: The pizza was not at a safe or appropriate temperature for consumption.
Unhelpful Resolution: I was told that if I ordered again in the future, Iād receive a complimentary garlic bread ā hardly a suitable resolution given the circumstances.
No Replacement Policy (After One Bite): I was informed that because I had taken a single bite, I could no longer return or exchange the pizza. Had I not tasted it, I apparently could have received a replacement ā a completely unreasonable policy when the fault lies with your productās temperature, not the customer.
Refusal to Provide Staff Name: When I asked for the name of the staff member I was speaking to, I was told that this information could not be provided. This lack of transparency is unacceptable.
Overall, Iām shocked by the poor handling of what should have been a straightforward issue ā unsafe food delivered, with no meaningful resolution or accountability offered.

Incredibly rude and they donāt take cash. Waste of time. Pizzas arenāt even that good from this store Hastings is better
Went again last night for a collection. Itās convenient for me but I knew not to expect much. I arrived for my collection time and had to wait an extra 10 mins once I got there. Rather than just telling me itās going to be late on the app I have to sit there for 10 mins waiting. Whatās the point of a collection time if you are going to stick to it. They werenāt even busy cooking other pizzas just walking around not doing much until one guy comes in and immediately sorts my pizza out. Turns out it had been just sat there the whole time.
