The last 3 times I’ve order has been an absolute shambles.
First order - placed the order online… then I get a call saying “we’ve sent our drivers home now so we can’t complete your order”… wouldn’t even let me collect so quite clearly just couldn’t be bothered and wanted to go home. Took 5 days to get a refund.
Second order - place order online again, then I get a call saying they don’t have enough drivers and order would be 2+ hours so i should probably collect. I then said the order would have been significantly cheaper if I was to collect so id like to be reimbursed the difference. I was told that wouldn’t be possible but for the inconvenience of this and the previous order I could have my next one free.
Third order - Placed order over the phone, was told the order would be with me fairly quickly. 15 mins later I received a text saying the order had left the store and was on its way (I live 5 mins away). 30 mins later no food. I called the store who said it had left 5 mins ago. 30 mins later STILL NO FOOD. I called again, I was told the order had disappeared and were making it again. 45 mins later I called again, they said the food would be leaving shortly. 15 mins later the food FINALLY arrived. Read moreThe food was lovely,but the service was awful, we where served at 21:27 by someone whose name started with an M. The person who served us had poor English (no disrespect) but it was not good enough to be understanding orders. The server proceeded to tell us that if we changed one of our pizzas to a medium it would be cheaper,however if you do the maths this is incorrect (I realised this after) . The server charged us for a medium but gave us a small, and told us that we did not order a medium when he was the one that suggested we order the medium and we happily did, he proceeded to tell us that we didn't order the medium and be quite 'cocky' with us. Then we checked the receipt and he had still charged us for the medium even though we had been given a small but not only that he over charged us by £10 pounds and laughed us out of the establishment when we said so. Also when we tried to order ice cream he could not tell us the flavours and would not let us read them,very strange . Read moreThis isn’t my local Domino’s, but after several disappointing orders from my closest branch, I stopped by this one on my way home one evening. I took the pizza back to my mum’s, and my younger sister, who is severely autistic, tried it and decided it was her new safe food.
One night we tried delivery (which unfortunately isn’t available from this store) and the pizza just wasn’t the same as from Bramley. So a few days later I went back in person, and while waiting for my order I got chatting with a lovely team member named Emily. She was so friendly and understanding when I explained my sister’s situation, and she even checked the pizza with me to make sure it would be right for her.
It’s rare these days to find such genuine, caring customer service. Since then, whenever I’ve visited, Emily has remembered me and asked how my sister is doing and whether the pizzas are still her safe food.
