McDonald's — Restaurant in Rotherham

I called to this MacDonalds at 7.35 am 3.5.21 after my son and small grandson had picked me up from a nightshift. We placed our order but notice that one item was missing. i repeated the whole order and asked him to add the missing item. He said ok and told us to drive to the window. We waited for a while watching as an obviously disgruntled man in the car in front was having a disagreement with the server. When it was finally our turn a middle aged, bespectacled woman was there, who quickly went through the order and told us that the hot chocolate machine was out if order, so i told her that coffees would be fine instead. I had thought I had heard the order she had called out correctly. She gave me the drinks and the bag of food. I looked in and saw that the item again was not there, so looked at the receipt and found it hadnt been put on the order after all. I explained this to the lady who quite rudely raised her voiced and said , 'You told me the order was correct. I tried to tell her what had happened and she cut me off by raising her voice even louder shaking the receipt in front of our faces and pointing saying repeatedly you said your order was correct, then stopped and said in a patronising fashion and with a dismissive waff of her hand, 'If you want anything else you ll just have to drive around the corner and go and fetch it from inside. My son was so angry at the way she spoke to us that he said, 'We ll just leave it', and we drove away. I checked the order again and couldn't believe that we had been given the wrong burgers anyway, from the order and what was on the receipt. My son turned around and we went back. I could nt see the woman when I got inside , but a young lady kindly changed the burgers for me. When we arrived home, we noticed that the woman had not given us the coffees, but putrid hot chocolate flavoured water from the obviously broken hot chocolate machine. In all I paid just under £20 for this fiasco and to be spoken to in such a derogatory manner by this absolutely horrid...

I’d rate this a 0* if I could, having used many McDonald’s restaurants in my life all over the UK I can confidently say that this particular maccies is the worst in the UK unfortunately I can’t speak for the whole world but I reckon they would give it a good go at taking that title too. Unfortunately Uber eats only allows me to chose to order from this McDonald’s out of the many In Rotherham, and every single time without fail we get issues, and everytime I give them the benefit of the doubt and end up ordering from them again the next time I’m in the mood. Well no more the final straw was ordering a breakfast and they managed to forget all 4 hash browns that me and my partner paid for as well as the fruit bag we ordered. This is not a rare occurrence by any means, either we order and they forget multiple items or a single item, or they ignore instructions “no ketchup” for example, or the food is cold or stale and ofc it’s gotten to the point where Uber eats point blank refuses to refund us for these mistakes because they don’t believe the restaurant could make these errors so many times. Avoid this restaurant like the plague. I know it’s only McDonald’s and I don’t expect nobu level quality but i don’t feel like it’s asking too much to get what we have paid for and have the food be edible. One last moan, for some unknown reason the fries always seem to be saltless, I don’t know who works the fries area but they must just hate the salt or something as they seem to refuse to put...

I & and a friend with their little girl 3yr old after placing order from inside the store at parkgate! 1 Happymeal with chicken nuggets , juice & small fries & a book. Then there were 2 x Tripple cheese bacon burgers with 2 large fries & Large coke& then 3 x Hambergers 1 Large fries 1 large coke the place was pretty busy so we decided to have them as a Take out we took them home now when we got home wow the order was not correct there was only 1 Tripple cheese bacon Burger 1 Large fries 2 med fries the Large cokes turned out to be medium & the Happy meal only had 3 nuggets in the bag no fries in ? I did try & phone the store & nobody answered my calls ( I live at Manor Farm & the traffic was terrible. The 8a Bus was packed solid, and there was no way i could have gotten back within 2½/3 hours later so went into store on Tuesday & was told there wasn't anything they could do & that I should have checked everything before leaving the store it's was the first I've used this store & can sat I won't be using again stick yo bridgegate store Rotherham town centre or if near parkgate then will use Burger King instead after all I do prefer their Burgers anyway ! We only went in macs because the little girl wanted a Happy meal I can say I wasn't a happy, chappy will leave alone in future & its a thumb...
