14 October- they charged me twice saying my first mobile payment didn't go through but when I checked the bank the following day, I had two charges. Have reported it.

Update: 7 days later......... still no refund. Losing patience with this now. I was told by "Luke" I'll get it "in a day or two". They confirmed the double charges.

Update: 2 weeks and still no sign of my refund.

Update: 19 days later, it's now 02 November and I emailed them again just before 8am to ask about the refund. 3 persons emailed and no reply from anyone,. Called HQ at 11am was told there was no one in Finance. Called the restaurant next and was told "I didn't get your email". Surprising as they got all my other emails. Was told again, they will call HQ to get this paid back.

03 November. Finally got paid back including my original charges. Thanks, I can now de-stress from this awful experience.

Things could have been better if they just know how to practice good customer service - keep me informed of when things will be dealt with. Unfortunately I'm always the one initiating the query. No one, not once, bothered to call me to apologise or explain where I was in the process. No one kept me informed by email, I had radio silence for 10 days!

At this same time, I was chasing a refund from rail company as well, about a cancelled train journey. I was also asked to fill in a form. The refund took 10 working days but the difference is that I was informed every step of the way so there was no need for me to chase them. Bacco needs to learn such good...

Fancied some brunch, I was in Rugby Town centre and had heard good things about the Bacco Lounge (BC) menu so though sod it why not?! Wasn't rammed with bodies and they'd just had delivery for the kitchen so I wasn't in a rush and made allowances accordingly. Young chap acknowledged me got me a de caff coffee and explained the qr code ordering service. It seems taking the order from me verbally had to be at the bar or via the app. Food ordered , food arrived. Looked nice enough but one small criticism- a snotty undercooked fried egg. Sent it back asked for an egg cooked properly or over easy and the cook took the egg off my plate, flash fried the same egg on the flat top returned the same egg to my plate and brunch re appeared. With a very sorry looking egg! Hey, not the end of the world and the cook was busy getting the delivery off the shop floor into storage so what's one re cycled fried egg in the big scheme of things? The BC is a trendy right on gaff with a cafe culture vibe and I'll more than likely eat there again sometime but not in a hurry. If you are in Rugby Town centre though and fancy some nose bag, give the BC your custom. You will get a decent meal, but from my experience, you roll the dice with the egg unless you specify over easy- which you can't do on the app, so order at the bar would be my counsel! A solid 7 out of 10 BC. Malcolm Clarke Rugby...

I recently dined at Bacco Lounge and had an exceptional experience. The restaurant offers a diverse menu, catering to various dietary preferences, including vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan, and non-vegetarian options, as well as a dedicated kids' menu. This inclusivity makes it a fantastic choice for groups with different dietary needs.

I opted for the Bang Bang Chicken, and it did not disappoint. The dish was perfectly cooked, with a delightful blend of flavors that left a lasting impression. The portion size was generous, and the presentation was appealing.

The ambiance of Bacco Lounge is warm and inviting, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it an ideal spot for a casual meal or a special occasion. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly.

Additionally, for families dining with children, Bacco Lounge provides drawing sheets with coloring pens to keep the little ones entertained, which is a thoughtful touch that adds to the overall dining experience.

Overall, Bacco Lounge exceeded my expectations with its wide range of menu options, excellent service, and kid-friendly amenities. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable...

We had tried to book in advance earlier in the day, but the system was down - with no advice to say so. The place was very busy - more so than my friends who have been on multiple occasions have seen before, however a table was found for us within around 20mins which wasn't bad. Unfortunately this was upstairs, so as a mobility impaired person this was a struggle. QR ordering at the table was therefore very welcome! I ordered a goan lamb curry with a flatbread (same as another within our group) which seemed to have either been dismissed as a duplicate or forgotten, as my dish arrived fifteen minutes later , and subsequently half of our group were almost finished before I was starting. It was however really good when it came, with very very tender slow cooked lamb and crunchy veg and plenty of flavour. The flatbread was also clearly freshly cooked, so was worth the wait. Would definitely go back at a less busy time.
