usually love this place, but the service yesterday was shocking. the staff were rude, and all of the young people across the pub (all over 18!!) were kicked out at 7pm due to an incident the day before which had nothing whatsoever to do with us. we had just come from our sixth form leavers day, all dressed appropriately and formally in dresses and suits, we all had about 2 drinks and some food, not causing any trouble at all. we were all told that we had 30 minutes to leave and that the staff weren’t going to ‘babysit’ us. when I said that we are all adults and that we weren’t causing any trouble, just sitting like everyone else in there, I was snapped at and told it was because of something that happened the day before! Really annoyed, we just wanted to have a drink to celebrate going to university and we all felt that we were discriminated against due to our age. We were all sat in small groups, not being loud or obnoxious, just wanted to have...

Been here a few times with colleagues/friends for lunch or evening drinks. It's popular and busy. Generally tables are set up for small groups of up to 4 people and it's not the most convenient for larger parties, e.g. 6 in our case. Tables are a little small, cramped together and awkwardly arranged with some very tall ones in the centre, so it's potluck and last time we had to sit near a draughty doorway. There are two entrances with many doors. Service and ordering using the app is very good, fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable too, about £10 for a small meal and drink. On one occasion one of the meals was on the cool side but my very 'English' colleague decided not to complain, but some of the meals are very good. The ramen bowl is a good massive meal and we couldn't finish it. The mixed grill was substantial too. The cauliflower curry is a great choice for veggies. There's no loud music so you can...

A fairly standard wethersppons, though a couple of things rank this as one of the worst. The state of the gents toilets, broken cubicles, paper over the floor as well . 2nd the service to be quite honest appealing. Me and my partner order to alcohol free/low alcohol beers and they brought the full 5% versions. We were chatting and didn't notice initially till after a couple of sips. When we did we reported it to a young lad on the till. Who said and I quote "I'm not doing anything you've drunk some" even having shown the receipt and that they had brought the wrong ones he said and I quote" what do you expect me to do about it" he sauntered off and we had to call the manager. Now my partner is a recovering alcoholic and I was driving. The repercussions of the wrong drinks was quite frankly appealing and to be honest, this young lad should be heavily reprimanded and retrained if not fired. An...

We stopped by this spot due to a 3-hour flight delay, and it was a great choice! The atmosphere was buzzing with travellers coming and going, and the views of planes taking off and landing were fantastic. The food menu offered some lovely options, and the service was top-notch - relaxed and attentive, unlike some other airport restaurants. Our server was particularly brilliant, providing excellent service. Unfortunately, we didn't catch her name, but she'd definitely made our wait more enjoyable. If you're looking for a good spot to pass the time at the airport, this is definitely worth checking out!

Cold room and very loud. There was a mix of families with kids and adults. Ordered coffees to start but they went cold quickly. Had to put our coats back on to eat. Service was ok. Relatively quick to tidy up but nothing more. Food advertised wasn't what came. Ordered pasta alfredo with added chicken. The pasta is meant to come with sundried tomatoes and spinach, but instead arrived with rocket on top. Chicken was dry. My friend ordered a chicken cheese burger which was ok.

Best pub in Rugby. If you ignore the franchising and the annihilation of local establishments then it's a great place. Food is always superb and the pints are always varied. It's a guilty pleasure and it excels. Beaming with history and boasting a dynamic yet ambient atmosphere, it is the go-to place either for a quick pint, a cheap lunch, a Friday night or just a good old catch-up with friends and family.
