The Chickfather — Restaurant in Rugby

Was hungry and in the mood for some wings so I decided to give Chickfather a try and was not disappointed. The owner who was at the till, was extremely polite and helpful and began preparing my food straight after taking the order. I only had to sit for a few minutes while I waited which was fine as the shop is clean, comfortable and has a nice atmosphere.

The chips I received were fresh out of the fryer and the wings we also very fresh and well seasoned, as well as the portion sizes being generous for amount I spent. I am very pleased with the service and food quality and will be coming back regularly.

My ownly suggestion is that the opening hours could start a bit earlier/closer to lunch time.

During my time in the UK recently, I have discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant in the town of Rugby. The name is what particularly intrigued me 😂 As soon as I walked in, I was very warmly welcomed in by the owner himself. I could tell the young man had some new biz jitters but that made me all the more eager to try and write an honest review. The food, let me just start off by saying, was thee best I have had in a while. I had the “Sea Supreme Burger” with some veggie samosas. We ordered one vegetable samosa, 2 blazing burgers, chicken strips and chips.

When this arrived we received all except we did not have a samosa but instead chilli cheese bites which we had not ordered. After phoning the shop they explained that they did not sell samosas anymore and instead added chilli cheese bites even though we were not made aware of this before hand and both do not like the cheese bites.

I found the burger to be extremely spicy but this is not mentioned in the description of the burger on the deliveroo app. I thought the effort was poor...
