A good real ale pub with a BBQ in the garden which they use every so often, so worth keeping an eye out on Facebook for any events! We visited for their ‘cider and sausage festival’ over the August bank holiday, with BBQ’d sausages including bratwurst (and 5 other sausage types/options). The bratwurst was great - as are the chips from the kitchen, and my partner enjoyed trying the range of ciders from local breweries/cideries. The Languedoc-Roussillon Chardonnay I had however was quite nasty - not vinegary enough for it to be faulty, but very acidic, lacking in fruit flavours and I think just generally a poor choice of wine for the bar.

Exemplary service and reasonable prices can be applied to all the good pubs in Rugby, it has been a great day out. Choice of 8 cask and 3 craft ales in this shrine to Rugby Union. Weekly pub quizzes, live music and a pie & pint offer are here to tempt you in. Make this your first or last calling point if travelling in by 🚂, the barman will even point you in the right direction help you on your way đŸ‘đŸ»

First time in Rugby, saw The Seven Stars advertised, so as it was only a short walk from the station decided to go there for lunch. Had a lovely chorizo scotch egg and sampled a tasty sausage from their "sausage n cider" event. Staff were very friendly, music playing in the background, all very pleasant.

Lovely establishment thats just outside of the town centre but well worth looking for! Staff are very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable on all the wide range of drinks stocked. Landlord and landlady are very hospitable although the landlords jokes are terrible. They serve a wide range of traditional beers, gins and whiskeys and also serve homemade scotch eggs and locally sourced pork pies that are well worth a try. Sports is aimed towards rugby football rather than proper football and they will even serve LONDON wasps fans. PUSB ...need to stock more...

Lifesaver!!!! “Just round the corner” from the local Travelodge, this hidden gem is a class-act, an exemplar pub and a real delight to be in. The place itself is beautiful and the contents beautiful, well kept and varied. Wonderful, helpful “can-do” staff top it off! To be in such a place is as if “lock-down” never happened and I thank the manager and staff for a lovely afternoon. If you ever find yourself in Rugby, a stones throw from the station, go there. You’ll never...
