Visited here for the 1st time and was very dissapointed. We were not shown any menus on arrival, however we knew we wanted aloo parathey. We were brought out 1 paratha out each (we had to order raita separately) which is odd as all other places give 2 parathey each for a serving. I asked for the 2nd ones and the owner said those were coming. The parathey themselves were very thin, oily with hardly any aloo filling. During our experience, we were not offered any water.

I was shocked to know our bill was £25 for 2 parathey each (2 people), 1 plain paratha, and 1 raitha. When I queried this, I was told it is only 1 paratha per serving, so by us asking for 2 parathey, we were charged double. £10 each (£20 in total) for 2 parathey is outrageous and frankly a complete rip off.

I would not dine here again or recommend this place to anyone...

5 weeks ago we placed an order and made a bank transfer to pay for the order, when the food arrived we were told the money had been transferred to the account they no longer use (wasn't told this when ordering the food, or advised to check details we had from the numerous orders we had placed previously). I refused to pay again, was £42 out of pocket and no food. Been calling the manager constantly since to get our money back, being told the bank account had been closed and money would automatically come back, this wasn't the case. Then stated been in touch with bank and the money has been transferred back, no it hasn't. Told we would be sent proof via whatsapp, nothing received. Looking at other reviews suggests there have been other issues with payments. HUGE lesson learnt with this...

Overall, it was a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious—rich in flavour and clearly made with care.😍😍

Although the service took a bit longer than expected, it was due to an issue that was being resolved at the time, and we appreciated the transparency. The owner was exceptionally helpful, taking the time to guide us through the menu and make recommendations based on our preferences, which made a real difference.

One point of feedback: the white rice didn’t seem very fresh and was quite hard. Also, while the food was full of flavour, the spice level was a bit high for my taste. That said, I’d definitely return and would happily recommend this place...
