New Regent — Restaurant in Rugby

It was my first experience of New Regent. My boyfriend saw that a lil pick me up was needed, so got a reservation for 9pm, we were very economical and organised a little quicker than we thought, got to New Regent 30 mins before, asked if we could be seated earlier, luckily there were a couple of cancellations so we sat near the window and there was a large office party in attendance in the inner part of the restaurant, I read the instructions of how it works and we started to order drinks and food, the members of staff were so lovely and having to run the restaurant and the delivery side too, communication was flowing naturally in the team. Would recommend the restaurant, great value for the quality of the food, we practically nearly ate all of the dishes with some that were similar in the starters section. Look forward...

Ordered food from here, never again waited nearly 2 hours, after rining them over 10 times to see where my food was. I was then greeted by a lady on the phone who told me that there driver had got lost, she said she would give me a call back to see when I would receive my order and that I didn't want to pay for it after waiting so long , she then said if I could pay 20 pound. After waiting driver knocked on the door asked him where he got lost, driver was confused and responded with "lost ? I never got lost I know rugby very well " so we were then lied to by the resturant and the food was awful ! Not happy at all , i thought after my daughter recieved some really bad news that this might cheer her up...

Went there last Thursday with my former work colleagues/friends, had the set price menu,which began with a selection of the countries starters, which definitely didn't disappoint both in chioce & quality, with the staff being attentive, friendly but not obtrusive, then from their had our individual main choices, mine being the sizzling beef, which I can still hear to this day as it arrived at my table on its individual wooden platter, again definitely didn't disappoint, some of us then had sweets but by then I was too full, to tell the truth. Would definitely recommend them and most of all if just to experience that taste of the orient for just a few hours, so...
