7 Spice — Restaurant in Rushcliffe

The guys at 7spice have done a wonderful job in keeping excellent standards set by the previous owners. For myself, and the family, we have had delicious and hot food on a regular basis and believe that the subtle changes in the recipes have meant, that for us, the food is tastier than before. We order on a regular basis, before and since changing owners, for take away, during a weekday, or weekend. We have been thoroughly impressed with our meals and feel lucky to have a restaurant of this quality only 2 villages away. We cannot wait to experience the food while dining in, and hope that this will be in the very near future. Many thanks to the whole team...

I got some food today and I was sorely disappointed - this was one of the poorest curries I've had for a long time. I had Chicken Tikka to start which clearly hadn't been marinated at all, tasted of nothing, and looked nothing like the picture on the (online) menu. I also had a signature dish (the Lal Mans) which was utterly bland and had no depth to it.The Tarka Daal was passable, but that's the best I can say of the food. I would have to assume that the main chef wasn't on duty today, but frankly I'm not prepared to risk it again. Very, very poor. The service, as always, was very friendly and efficient, but that doesn't make up for £21...

We visited for our anniversary dinner and were not disappointed. The service was prompt, polite and considerate. The food was fresh and delicious, with generous portions. The chicken pakora was the best I've ever had, and I ate a lot of curry when I went to university in Bradford!

Sadly we weren't able to finish our mains due to the said generous portions, but when we told the staff that we were sad not to be able to finish, they immediately offered to bag the rest up for us so we have leftovers in the fridge!

Really can't recommend this...
