Had to drop my car off at the nearby MOT garage and what started as a quick errand turned into a bit of a saga. By midday, I was hungry and in need of a break. Heard some great music drifting from the Keyworth Tavern as they were just opening up, which was already a good sign.

Popped in to use the facilities, and straight away the staff were friendly and laid-back. Ended up getting a quick trim at the barbers nearby (new job incoming), then came back and basically camped out at the Tavern for a bit, charging all my gear and regrouping. They were cool about it, no pressure, just genuinely accommodating.

Took my wife there to sample the steak and she loved it all as well, no complaints. Would return when next in the area.

Top marks for the welcoming vibe, decent music, and local hospitality. Proper good...

This is a great pub, with amazing food and a superb atmosphere. It is let down by a rude foul mouthed little boy with red hair serving behind the bar. I was in there this evening enjoying a relaxing pint when I overheard him swearing at his fellow colleagues behind the bar and being generally offensive. There was a nice young lady from Ukraine working hard and doing a great job, but all this boy could do was be rude to her, even when she was clearly asking him for help. He spent the evening ignoring her, and constantly swearing under his breath, unfortunately he could be heard by others around the bar. This is not relaxing and I don’t like to witness this kind of treatment. I like drinking in here, but if this little boy is working in future I will turn around and take my custom elsewhere. I’ve been to the Keyworth Tavern many times now. Mostly for drinks but occasionally for food. The team and Landlord do an amazing job providing great service, food and drinks! I am a real ale fan myself and I’m never disappointed with the selection the Tavern has on. There’s always something for everyone! I’ve had a few meals and they’re always delicious (they always seem tastier each time!). The Tavern hosts semi regular beer festivals with ales out of the barrels and tap takeover’s from local brewery’s and sometimes ones from further afield. If you’re in the area it’s a must visit and if you’re not in the area it’s a reason to visit! Top marks in all categories and look forward to seeing the Keyworth Tavern...
