Burger King — Restaurant in Rushmoor

Bit of a mixed bag, clean as you would expect, staff were helpful and friendly, App order was not great, no flexibility to choose a drink, and was hard to understand, I clicked meal deal on the 1st order, then added a free burger as an introduction to the App, I clicked meal on that as well.

We chose to eat in due to the heat, showed the order so they could get the meal and that was fine, but only one meal plus a single burger (the deal), so I had to order an extra drink and chips, I was not bothered as such, but it demonstrates the lack of clarity in the App, if it said do you want chips etc with it then it would be fine, but having pressed on meal for each of them I didn't expect it was needed.

The major let down was the drinks machine's, there was so little ice it didn't cover the bottom of 1 cup, and the drink was warm, and there is one thing I hate more than anything is a Warm, cold drink, it's vile, no point in going to mention it as it's a standalone system, so nothing they could do anyway, then pouring the drink had to be held in, no wonder I struggled and can't recall seeing any instructions.

Then after eating my food I had a closer look at the App and saw a comment saying "Show this to the server to get reward points added" So I did, and they couldn't see the order, I then said we have already had the food etc, then I wondered why it would be needed if ordered via the App, I thought it would be automatically done in the App, and they said it is, so it turned out ok,.

But the drink was a real downer on the meal, and my first time with the App was very hard to use, so it needs a much more logical interface in my opinion, saw no way to select specifics like making it a large chips, or choosing a specific drink or size, maybe it's in there, but as a first time user it was very lacking, but...

Visited recently and stayed for just over an hour mainly due to the stupid and unreliable app not allowing me to order and therefore took much longer to order than it should have. A few days later I received a £100 parking fine. Went in and spoke to the “manager” who couldn’t have been more disinterested and unhelpful if she tried. She just kept repeating that she did not care we had a fine and that there was absolutely nothing they would do about it. Said we should have told them about the car reg number when we visited the first time, but we were not told about this by anyone in store and the tablet which you enter your reg details in is not exactly obvious. Maybe a sign on the door or make your staff ask if you parked in the car park when ordering would help. I know there is a way for them to remove the fine from the system as it has been done before, they are just lazy and don’t care about their customers. Will not be back to this place. McDonald’s on the other hand when this has happened just said sorry and cancelled the fine off the parking company’s system.

Would have bought dinner for us from there if the manager had cancelled the parking fine, but she was so rude I just walked out in disgust, I will not give my money to company’s who treat there customers or staff like that, so this franchise have lost another...

So came to this Burger King which is in Aldershot on a Thursday Afternoon. This Burger King has been here for a long time perhaps some 20 years or more. The parking is great it’s enough space just for Burger King customers so always space to park although you only get 1 hour here. The good thing here is that because it’s more expensive than Mc Donald’s it’s a little bit exclusive in that it’s not full of chavs and pikeys well it may have them sometimes but due to the price it keeps the kids mostly away which is great as you can sit here in peace eating without any annoying people around you. All you are sat with is regular people having a burger. The downside was they didn’t accept cash it’s only card but the ordering terminal was easy to use and self explanatory. The toilets where clean and the establishment was clean itself. The staff where friendly. Overall a pleasant stay and if you want a slightly up market burger place away from the crowds and annoying young pikeys that you would expect in these sort of places then this is the place for you.
