There was an amazing arts project which took place in June 2021 to celebrate Armed Forces Day 2021. It featured work from children and teachers from schools in the area. This is a day upon which the nation can have the opportunity to celebrate the Armed Forces community and to recognise all of the wonderful work they do to protect the UK.
The purpose of the project was for pupils to learn more about the armed forces and to thank the troops.
Over 4300 pupils took part and they were from 20 different schools.
The project explored the different skills which are needed to make the Army a success.
