Nice little venue, apart of a street with loads of houses on which was unexpected. Was quite busy when we went service was good. I had tofu as I am veggie, it was very mushy on the inside I’m not sure if it was the way they were cooking it but tofu is usually supposed to be hard so I didn’t really like this, the sauce it was in however was really nice and they left me choose a sauce from the main menu rather than a set dish sauce specified for the tofu. Noodles were really good! As for the rest I cannot say although the red Thai curry did smell like fish which is a bit worrying if you’re a vegetarian/vegan especially considering it is on the veggie menu.

We had a meal for four in this small sized malaysian restaurant. The staff are friendly and professional. We had a mixed platter for starters, followed by a beef randang curry, sambal tumis prawns, cashew chicken and a pok-choy dishes, accompanied with fried noodles and egg fried rice. The restaurant was at near full capacity so the orders took a little longer than expected. However, the food was very fresh and tasteful with just the right amount of spice. The portions are a little on the small though. On the whole though, very tasteful and recommendable.

Chinese New year 2022. The restaurant was packed (with East Asians, including myself, which is always a good sign) but that compromise the service and quality of food. It was SO tasty, fresh, and the tea and tableware were refreshed regularly. Great menu. Not huge but had everything we wanted and some new items we hadn't tried before. They even packed my leftovers up to take home. I think this has become my new goto Chinese restaurant outside London. Loved it. Highly highly recommend.

5 April 25 I’m adding to this review….I’ve had about 5 really really bad sweet and sour chickens WAY TOO MUCH MALT VINEGAR. It was uneatable went in the bin. I did tell them about it, first and the boss she said they don’t use malt vinegar, I’m not stupid I know how sweet and sour sauce is made I was a chef……she said no one else has complained about it but they have it with loads of vegetables and other foods so more than lightly didn’t just taste malt vinegar….as I don’t have any vegetables in my sweet and sour chickens just chicken and sauce there is nothing to take away the vinegar in the sauce….. but I perceived and it paid off I had sweet sour chicken tonight with vegetables in and there was no vinegar over powering the sauce…..so it was very delicious thank you…. 🤩

my god was the best Chinese I’ve ever had… waited three weeks as it was closed but I was so happy when it was open today, *House special spring chicken rolls the taste was amazing they were stuffed with chicken best rolls I’ve ever eaten in my life….. *sweet and sour chicken without vegetables could not fault it we enjoyed it. Wasn’t a massive portion and if your a big eater not enough for two. *crispy shredded beef with no vegetables could of had a little bit of sauce but I’m not complaining enjoyed every mouthful thank you. *Malaysian rice husband said it was lovely and would have it again. *fried plain noodles with no vegetables was amazing weren’t greasy and they where skinny noodles so they don’t over fill you. Would say it’s the best Chinese I’ve eaten in years and years and I will be eating it once a week now. So thank you for a...

This was my third visit to Malacca and I was very disappointed! Couldn't fault the taste of the food but the portions were small and the service was terrible, food was just dumped on the table with no explanation of each dish and I had to ask which was mine, the waiter didn't make eye contact with any of us,and didn't smile, my brothers food was brought out before my partners and mine, a waitress cleared our plates whilst my partner was still eating, but the most unbelievable thing was my partner was rolling a cigarette and the waitress pushed his hand out of the way to take his plate, we asked for the bill which didn't come, so after ten minutes we went to the counter and had to wait for it to be made out. We were served by the manager and asked him to take off the service charge, he asked why and we said because the service was terrible,he took it off but didn't ask for any further explanation! Feel sorry for the kitchen staff as the food was lovely but because of the dire service they lost...

My girlfriend and I had a meal here Saturday night, pleasent enough, nothing wowed us, but we are foodies so have Been to some nice places. Restaurant was quite busy which is nice to see. Our table was 7:30 so not late and we went for one of there banquet meals, with a few add ons. My gripe comes from nearer the end of our meal and when most had left the restaurant, I felt rushed, we had ordered wine which was in a wine cooler by table and the waiter every 2 mins was pouring more into our glasses, what seemed trying to end the bottle and also end our evening, to the point I had to tell him to stop and I would pour when needed. The time we left was just after 10:00 so restaurant was still supposed to be open for another hour. Our bill was just short of £200 so when spending this I don't want to feel like I'm burdening them by trying to enjoy a...
