The worst experience possible! Besides the very dirty, unwiped and sticky tables, everything looked unclean, including the cutlery brought for serving the food. I asked for them to be changed because they had egg residue on them. Unfortunately, the food was a complete disaster. We spent around £30 for 3 people, a reasonable amount if the food had been what we actually ordered. My sandwich, the “Ultimate Breakfast Bap”, was absolutely disgusting. I’m completely convinced it was made from leftovers from other plates. Everything was cut into uneven pieces that didn’t fit together. The bap was spread with butter, even though that wasn’t mentioned on the menu, and the sausages were completely overcooked. For another sandwich, we asked to replace the barbecue sauce with mayonnaise, but we were told it wasn’t possible, that’s “company policy.” We changed to other menu options, but everything was still messy, tasteless, and poorly presented. Another important point: oat milk is listed on the menu, but not in stock. When my daughter who is allergic to cow’s milk ordered a coffee with oat milk, the staff member told us that they are not allowed to bring milk from the Tesco store during service hours. She also mentioned that they had a very busy weekend, even though that has nothing to do with not providing oat milk to customers. It was Monday afternoon. Overall, the experience was dirty, disorganized, and completely disrespectful toward customers. It’s unimaginable that a brand like Tesco allows such poor standards in a place that carries its name. What a pity! I guarantee that my family and I will never step into a Tesco café again.

The 1 star is for the very basic food and not the staff member who served me. She is not even worthy of a rating. I ordered the 'Beyond Burger & Fries' which is a vegetarian meal and is 920 calories. It was £11.95. The food was ok but the price is clearly expensive. I have been to this café a few times and the food is nothing special. Regarding the staff member who served me, she was very rude. A short woman with black hair whose attitude was completely off and stunk. Judging by the other reviews people shared Tesco Café has a problem with the staff they hire and the staff need disciplining or re-training at the very least! The woman who served me is not the type of person you want to have serving your food. I believe people who work in customer service should be polite and pleasant. Everyone has their off days but they should not let their negativity affect customers and people who have done nothing wrong to them. She had a proper miserable look on her face. It was not pleasant customer service. I do not know why places hire people like this. These people must claim that they have good customer service skills when they clearly do not. I believe food should not be served with a negative energy. These people are not fit to work in food or in any customer service roles where they are dealing with people.

Raw breakfast! Moody staff. Dirty tables. Is no one reading these reviews? You have a person taking orders who has no business facing customers. Whoever is cooking is serving us raw eggs, partially frozen hash browns, etc The woman, can't call her a lady, who's taking orders, looks at you like she could kill you for just saying "Hi.. can I please have.?." Two other people returned their food and had new ones made for them. As I was in a hurry and already waited a long time to get the raw breakfast, I didn't say anything, just left everything uncooked on the plate. I've attached two pics, but can't attach the video, where you can see how disgustingly raw the egg was. Avoid this place. Visit your local cafe instead. It's probably cheaper too.
