The Rock House — Restaurant in Salford

The rock house pub is a mid to expensive pub in comparison to other Eccles pubs. (£8 for a VK and desperado) (£5.30 for apple sours and lemonade) (Crisp £1.20ish) It's located just off the swing bridge and easy to find. Its a fantastic place to watch football as they've got plenty of big screens located around the pub. Pool table available in the back. The place is clean and warm. They have a large outside beer garden that is nicely decorated. Parking on site which is easy to find. They have a food menu but when food is served is unknown to me. Maybe I'm just in at the wrong time or maybe the food menu is only weekends but I'm unsure when they serve food if at all. I wish them all the best on the future but it's not high on my list to return to. Cocktail menu advertised in the bathroom but not on the table or at the bar. Bathroom was very clean and kept to a high standard....

The pub has recently been refurbished and is much better than it previously was. Now under the Punch taverns group and new landlords, a lot has gone into the pub to modernise it. The landlords are keen to welcome the locals back along with getting new customers.

The food is good and priced well though there's not much in the way of vegan & vegetarian dishes. There are also offers available for the week. There's also a good drinks selection but I'd like to see more dry ciders on the menu.

It's noisy or quiet depending on the time and day you're in there.

Overall it's a good experience whether it's for a few drinks, some food or both.

Our first time in this sports bar and we were impressed, the lay out was spacious and had a comfortable feel about it. The bar has a good selection of beers, lagers and spirits with efficient friendly bar staff. The menu has many favourites plus some new twists to pub food. What we had was more than enough, ample portions, we were unable to finish. We had a selection of 3 starters between us both. I had a chicken sizzler, very nice and my lady had the bbq bacon and cheese sandwich with a side of salad and fries. Dont take our word try it, you wont be disappointed. Great pub and...
