The terrible coach, Moses Y, had a terrible attitude and rudely told the student, "You don't even deserve to stand here to listen." And then discriminatorily expelled the student from the classroom. Additionally, he did not provide protection when the student was practicing movements that he thought the student couldn't control well and couldn’t protect themselves. Instead, he just let the student keep practicing actions by themselves he believed the student couldn't protect themselves from. If you think the student can't protect themselves, and you also don't offer protection, then your role as a coach is null during the student's self-practice.
————— the detail
I booked a 5-hour snowboarding lesson on March 7th, Thursday, with Coach Moses Y. I had a very bad experience around 15:00. At that time, Moses taught us a backside trend position and command another girl and me to keep practicing the old move when he had teaching a new one posture for the other two students. After about ten minutes, Moses started teaching another new posture again but still command me to practice the old one and didn't give any attention or help. By the way he spent a few minutes explaining the previous ahead side posture to the girl whose control level was similar with me and let her practice it once or twice.
However, I believed my control level was similar to the other girl's, without a noticeable difference that justified humiliation.
Later, when I was just standing aside listening to him explaining a new posture,
he rudely said, "You don't deserve to stand here listening; go practice your old moves."
I responded, "Can't I just stand here and listen? I believe it's my right as a student of this lesson."
He then said, "Either quit out the class to find the indoor staff by yourself, or I will get the staff to take you out."
I didn't say anything.
But, this terrible coach Moses Y went out to find a staff member, a lady at the front desk, to discriminatorily expel me from the classroom.
The reason might be that he thought a beginner didn't deserve to listen to his explanation on postures, or because the student couldn't laugh along with his jokes due to not being very proficient in the language. I believe this was absolutely a discriminatory injury, or bullying by Moses leveraging his position as a coach in such a social course.
It caused me severe psychological harm, and I can't understand the...
Read moreAwesome play centre, we were supposed to go elsewhere that day but we're late so went here and wow will we be going again! There's lots to do, go carts which the children went on many times, Lazer quest room with amazing star wars figures painted in UV paints, they look awesome on photos, A massive ball pool and play center with a super long slide. My little girl hurt her back on this and the staff were helpful and showed concern. The center is very clean considering the amount of families there. There is a party area which was Christmas themed when we went. There's a large toddler area and a web tunnel which the children can climb, wiggle through which looked good fun. There's a football area within the ball pool area. There's a zip wire area that you have to pay extra for but it's only about £4-£5. There's a virtual reality area which you pay extra for. There's a good cafe that provides a good range of foods and can cater for free from customers, of which I'm one. This is great as I often take my own free from foods as it's hard to find places that cater. It's a great places for parents to join in with their children as many Dad's did on the big slide! There's an app that lets you know of offers and events that's great for all the info too. I would definitely recommend this and am going back there with my family...
Read moreAbysmal First Experience at Chill Factore – Coach Moses Y. Ruined It
Our recent visit to Chill Factore was an absolute disaster, entirely due to the appalling conduct of our snowboarding instructor, Moses Y. We booked lessons for our two sons, aged 11 and 8, on the same day, specifically requesting the same coach to ensure a consistent and positive first experience with snowboarding. What we got was anything but. Both of our boys came back from their lessons in tears, utterly distraught by Moses Y.'s rudeness. To refer to children, especially paying customers, as "overgrown babies" is not only incredibly unprofessional but also deeply offensive and completely unacceptable. This kind of language is humiliating and has no place in an environment meant to be fun and encouraging for beginners. Our sons' first foray into snowboarding was completely destroyed by this individual's deplorable attitude. Instead of fostering enthusiasm and a love for the sport, Moses Y. managed to instill fear and upset. Chill Factore, you need to seriously re-evaluate your coaching staff, particularly Moses Y. We will not be returning, and we will be sharing our horrific experience with anyone considering your facility. This was a monumental waste of money and, more importantly, a truly heartbreaking experience for...
