Awesome play centre, we were supposed to go elsewhere that day but we're late so went here and wow will we be going again! There's lots to do, go carts which the children went on many times, Lazer quest room with amazing star wars figures painted in UV paints, they look awesome on photos, A massive ball pool and play center with a super long slide. My little girl hurt her back on this and the staff were helpful and showed concern. The center is very clean considering the amount of families there. There is a party area which was Christmas themed when we went. There's a large toddler area and a web tunnel which the children can climb, wiggle through which looked good fun. There's a football area within the ball pool area. There's a zip wire area that you have to pay extra for but it's only about £4-£5. There's a virtual reality area which you pay extra for. There's a good cafe that provides a good range of foods and can cater for free from customers, of which I'm one. This is great as I often take my own free from foods as it's hard to find places that cater. It's a great places for parents to join in with their children as many Dad's did on the big slide! There's an app that lets you know of offers and events that's great for all the info too. I would definitely recommend this and am going back there with my family next weekend.

This was the first time I skied at Chill Factore. My first impression was good as the lady at the reception was friendly and helpful who told me everything about what I needed to know. The rental area was under renovation so was a bit noisy. The skiing area was properly managed. The reasons I gave it a 4–star were, firstly, the gears were worn so as the lockers: Not until I inserted a coin in it I found the key was gone. I gotta asked the staff at rental for help and he found someone to fix it quickly. Secondly because the poor design of the car park and the ruthless of the back office. When I left and found my car was stuck at the car park, I went to the reception for help. A staff named Cath called the back office but I was told they could do nothing for it. Fortunately, Cath instructed me getting out the parking lot, though still not successful. Finally I could escape from it as the car behind me moved out. My thanks to all the staff, in particular Cath, who made me an enjoyable skiing morning. Even though some flaws, I still recommend it especially the beginner. It’s a good place to learn skiing before you go to a ski trip.

The chill factoré is a cool place to visit.... Sorry. It has a decent array of shops, restaurants and cafes that can cater to most tastes within the alpine setting of the entrance. The shops are related to skiing and snowboarding in the main, as they would be for the venue. The main reason for coming though is for the indoor ski slopes. They are good, not great. The snow can compact a little too much and become icy. They don't seem to be maintained as much as they used to be and the prices are not going down. This is my main bug bear as the cost is not insignificant and the slope can be very busy at peak times. My 6 year old learnt to ski here when he was 4 and still goes now for the odd refresher if we are going away or for a bit of family fun. Some of his lessons were over crowded (not in the group itself as there are maximum 6 in a group) but they can put too many groups on the slopes at one time causing fewer runs and less learning time. My review may seem negative but on the whole the chill factoré is a good fun place to visit and it has nice facilities and is great family fun!

The Chill Factore is great if you want to ski, and OK if you want to eat, but it has a bunch of redundant bars and eateries around the slope which seem to be a bit of a waste. I wanted to sit and watch my partner learn to ski, as I had torn a muscle in my leg, but the only way I could get a drink to sit with, despite there being a bar and 2 restaurants right by the slope, was to go to Nando's or Wetherspoons and get a take out. These slope-side eateries/drinkeries are probably opened up only for parties but it seems a lost opportunity to me by the venue. The slope is pretty big for an indoor slope and has a great recreational area to one side with a luge and a sled run and also a mogul slope with big tyres which would be great for a fun (if chilly) corporate day out - or a birthday party. The practice slope where they teach beginners is also well appointed with a travelator to get beginners to the top of the slope with ease (step on and ride). Lessons are reasonably priced, especially the group lessons and if you get an offer, they can be really good value - we got nearly 50% off.

Small intimate place that was not too overly crowded ( though very busy) two main slopes; one that doubled as a small/medium slope. Many lifts running (place in between your legs), had poles up on one slope for advanced ski/snowboarders. Has a small snow playground part as well with small tube and slides for younger children to play as well. Instructor ( Rachel) was very patient and helped give extra attention and really quickly helped him get the basics. Kids had a fantastic time all in all. Though I will say that the people attending to the slopes are not very helpful, patrons helped prior to the staff. Other workers like cashiers, ski fitters and especially the gentleman ( wish I knew his name) attending the clothing and snowboit rental had excellent customer service. Can even view your little ones snowboard, ski, or play from an indoor warm or in the ski area (COLD) in the bar above the reception. My babies can't wait to go again and find more like it!! Good value for money, look on groupon though and book ahead as we could not and it save a lot more if you do.
