I had the worse experience at this KFC. On saturday 13th July (last week), I ordered food for my mother at the drive-through; I paid with my card and waited and waited at the window to collect the food. After about 7 minutes, the young woman returned and said my card didn't work. I looked on my banking app and it showed that the payment was pending; no surprise as it was Saturday, I showed it to the assistant, she closed the window. 10 minutes went by, no food and no one returned to speak to me. The queue behind me was building up. I got out my car and knocked the window. Eventually someone ca.me to speak to me. I couldn't believe they'd just left me there! The man told me that their till haven't taken any money, I said they had because my bank said its pending, but if they said it hadnt, could i pay for my order, I had £10 only, and if they could allow me to bring the money later as my mum aged 99 was waiting for thd food. Then we could sort out the pending amount as it would show up by the Monday . To cut a long story short he said he'd speak to the manager. Another 10 minutes the on duty manager refused to come and talk to me, I had to go into the restaurant, the man in the car behind me was shouting at me. I eventually got him to talk to me and all he would say was that if I wanted food, i'd have to order what the £10 would buy. Neither he nor his staff had any respect for me or the fact that my app said the transaction had gone through; I kept calm. He said mant times kept saying it would disappear off my app by Monday. I was full of dispair, I asked for a note saying I hadn't had £14.46 worth of food, he refused! I ordered a hot wing meal and was so flustered I didn't realise until I got home thst thd manager hadn't given me a drink with the meal. On Monday 15th the £14.46 came out of my account. I went to the kfc oldbury and spoke to a lovely English woman. She saw what went on, I had no proof thst I didn't collect the £14.46 food but had the other receipts for £6.99 on the same day. I was lucky she believed me! She went to see the duty manager, he didn't come out, he was 'on the phone' for a long while! Probably the same one from Saturday! This lovely lady refunded my money, she said she believed me. I can't believe the lack of respect or customer service. Unfortunately, I am saddened to say, that i believe that this was a racial issue. I have never heard of anyone being totally ignored like that before, by the manager and the 2 other members of staff. When I got the hot wings home, they were the small dried up and quite cold.
I do not recommend this 'restaurant' and will not be returning there...

While waiting what feels like an eternity to get served by one of the staff members there were alot of tables that had trays of rubbish on the tables for the whole time I was waiting and even after I managed to order my food, this is an absolute disgrace how can you have a restaurant that doesn't have someone on lobby keeping it clean on a regular basis? And then there was the service ordering was fine the guy that served my was very polite and I didn't I have to repeat my order he got it in one but then after that I was waiting for my food for a good 5-8 minutes and while I was waiting they called on a flaming wrap that I ordered and a guy in the kitchen with a black shirt was shouting "I'm not doing another flaming wrap I've done 3 already I'm not doing a forth one" to which I had to explain that I was waiting on a flaming wrap for my order so one of the employee's working the counter had to go into the kitchen and do the flaming wrap, now as a paying customer you don't want to here from one of the staff members that they are not doing something that you've ordered because they've done 3 already... Now comes the food my food was okay they missed the drinks from the order but that was it for my friends one of them didn't get the chicken from their big daddy meal and that ended up dripping with grease and they couldn't eat it. All in all the cleanliness and hygiene of the store is poor with lobby being a complete mess and the toilets had grass in them and weren't cleaned or flushed. Read moreOn Sunday evening everyone was starving & my family wanted some KFC so I decided to use this branch. After paying the full price of a 14 piece bargain bucket they decided to fill the bucket with chicken strips which I had only realised when I got to my dinning table. On realising I decided to take it back bearing in mind by the time I got to the branch I wasn’t even hungry any more as I been starving since couple hours ago & didn’t get a chance to eat. Yes they corrected the order but that was just about it. When I asked the lady on whether they’ve even compensated it as I had come all the way off my dinning table, not to mention the fries which I had left at home as they were ok also went cold due to this drama. She turns around & says that they’re not allowed to do it. How come other branches can compensate with a couple of pieces on correcting an incorrect order & for running thru the inconvenience but these guys cannot
