I came to this McDonald's with my partner for a quick bite to eat, we are both employees of the McDonald's brand but at a different store in Wolverhampton. I understand that this was the first launch day of monopoly and the store looked understaffed HOWEVER they had placed a trainee on drinks and till. She obviously can't cope with doing the two jobs being a trainee although she was extremely polite, all the managers that I could see were in the kitchen without hats or aprons rather than managing their shift or helping the crew on the front. After placing our order, which took a bit longer than usual due to it being a trainee, we waited at the collection point. The first girl who served us was called Minda? and she wasn't the best person to put on running/presenting on the front counter. She placed our sandwiches on the tray (off from the OAT) so that our sandwiches were now going cold. Bearing in mind my mocha frappe wasn't even in the blender. Both screens were nearly full and the drinks screen had pending orders yet all the managers were still in the kitchen and no fries were down. Minda then placed our fries on the tray with our sandwiches while we were still waiting for my mocha (the base had run out and we were waiting for it.) I asked Minda to replace my fries as not only were they half full but they would also be cold by the time my drink was done. At this point a young Asian shift manager was helping on fries and asked what the problem was. Minda had told her my complaint and the manager came to speak to me. She replaced the one fries and said: That's what a full fries looks like. I went to argue the Toss with her but I didn't, I know what a full medium box of fries looks like and that wasn't it. There is no way that it would have weighed 114g if I'd taken the time to weigh it. As for the way she spoke to me? She doesn't know that I am in fact a salaried manager at my own store and the fact that she would talk to any customer like that is appalling. She then walked off, I then had to ask another girl on the front counter called Manjit to get my other box of fries and drink as at this point I was still waiting! Minda and Manjit sorted my order for me, replaced my fries AGAIN and apologised as they thought the manager was sorting my order out. Over all a disgraceful visit and after the service I received today even I feel ashamed to work...
   Read moreAs we hope to expect everytime we go into a maccies, that is a nice clean restaurant & this was, only gripe I have is it took me a long time to connect my app to the indoor ordering service, I would love the my maccies app connect to the ordering screen with ease but I had to go on line & spent the best part of 10 minutes logging onto a Internet provider so I could order my food. I chose to sit in & have someone bring over my food & that is due to the fact I need crutches to aid in my walking, as I'm too stubborn to use my wheelchair.
I ordered a McSpicy meal medium with a banana milkshake, which was bought over to my table within 90 seconds of me completing my order & paying for it.
I sat down & a very kind maccies colleague brought my food to me & my special instructions were adhered to & that is NO lettuce as I find that iceberg has no flavour & turns limp like Spinich in some butter, so my food arrives & it is hot but not overly hot where I could burn my mouth & I can say hand on heart that the McSpicy has more heat than hot wings & a Zinger combined & I'm so happy it's here to stay, now we just need maccies to give us a little spicy salt mix for our fries & as always the milkshake was on point too.
I highly recommend the McSpicy burger or meal to everyone who likes a little flavour in their lives. On the whole another enjoyable visit to my local maccies for me. I don't have any pictures to post as I was happily...
   Read moreDouble big Mac meal ordered. After my burger and fries had been completed and put on the counter, I was told there was no Fanta left. Asked if I wanted another drink, which I didn't, so I asked if I could get a partial refund on the fries and drink, to have the burger only, which seemed too difficult to understand or that I'd just said something so grotesque or offensive, after seeing the faces pulled by the manager. After repeating myself, I was then told they do have Fanta, just that they need to put some in the drinks machine. So the reality was to tell people things weren't available, as it was too much effort to do their job, in the hope you would order some alternative that you didn't want. My burger and fries were taken away and then returned with the drink, once this had been sorted.
So much salt on the burger it was rancid. Fries were only half full and soggy and undercooked. I don't know if it's because they felt put out by doing their job or if it's common for this McDonald's, but it was like someone had poured salt onto the burger, I didn't eat it and threw it away, so bad that I wasn't going to bother asking for a replacement, if this was what I'd already received. It was that salty someone must have poured salt onto it. I genuinely don't like any of the other drinks on the menu, I'd have rather just gotten the burger as I politely requested.
