The Wonder — Restaurant in Sandwell

Been to this pub since it opened with new management with adam and his amazing staff . Yes this reveiw maybe 1 sided but from pine entertainments who do regular events here for adam . We have found that this little pub is a great place to bring your little 1s. The beer is always fresh . The smiles and comfort you get from the staff every day of the week is comforting to everybody . The entertainment is amazing with who adam and sally book .. ( yes me and kelly ) are 1 of them .. but what an amazing plaze to be . Bring your family . Bring the kiddys . Amazing beer garden . Amazing outdoor seating area . . Sadly no disabled toilels due to the building but its all on a level for wheelchair users . Parking is amazing . Sunday karaoke vibes are just ... well great . New faces joining a busy pub . Thank you all you got this little very bisy pub run well . The staff and the owner have this to the perfection . . Well done and i realy hope this gem of a pub continues for...

A place that welcomes COVID 19. ....AVOID

punters stood at the bar. Limited sanitizing on show. One at door empty no track and trace in place and Loud music.

Locals shaking hands shouting as well as hugging each other and stood way too close to each other.

Landlord not bothered with social distancing .... needs to get the basics right on COVID PRECAUTIONS.

Choice of lagers and ciders is good BUT Ales are not well kept at all.

Has sky sports now.

This place could be very good BUT

I'm going to gove this place 3 stars, and while that sounds like madness I can see the duality of this pub. In the cold light of day this isn't a pub you'd take your kids, unless you wanted to toughen up their immune system. But I bet this place is a totally different fish come dark. 3 jaeger shots for £6 and a few Stella's and you'd have a great night. Maybe score with a local once those beer goggles kick in. Wouldn't be surprised if their wasn't someone in there selling a few hard line...
