Adriano's Fish & Chips & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Scotland

I've been here 4 times. First time I wasn't happy because when I went, even though there were quite a few staff on no one acknowledged me for 7 or 8 minutes. Some chippies acknowledge you when you go in. Sometimes if it's not busy they ask you what you want in case they need to fry it. Other chippies may expect you to just speak up.

Anyway next couple of visits were fine then tonight they lost me and my friend as a customer because of their ignorance. One guy was serving, one frying and a few others behind the counter but only one other customer who was in front of me. At first I thought the guy behind the counter was just too busy to acknowledge me but after 5 minutes I found it disrespectful that not only he didn't acknowledge me but the fish fryer just walked away.

I wanted to make sure as they had just one fish ready and as I was still waiting to be acknowledged never mind served, that I hadn't to wait much longer to also have my fish fried. I asked the server at the counter for a large supper which is two fish. He said okay but did nothing. I waited another 3 or 4 minutes and asked him again. He said just going to do it but he didn't

In other chippies the server or fryer would have acknowledged me, asked what I wanted. The fryer would put it in the oil within a few minutes and not have just walked away instead. It was as if they didn't care a jot about me as their customer so I didn't care to wait around and I don't...

Bad customer service and worst chippy I've ever been to.. prices are above average and the sausages look like cheap hot dogs.. the staff are just so arrogant and look like drug addicts if I'm honest.. they have a lot to say for ppl who serve chips for a living.. but wait, there's more.... I got a sausage supper today and when I got home I realised there was actually bird sh*t on the wrapping paper..!!! Wow, how this place still operates I will never know..!!

It's literally the worst chippy chips I've ever had. We just picked up a large bag of chips to share, and they were the most dry, chewy, bland chips I've ever had. They were pretty much inedible, but we had made curry sauce to have with them along with fish, so that was the only thing that saved them otherwise I would have had to walk back down to the place to hand them back. Do not recommend paying £4+ for these. ...
