I’m not one to write reviews, but my mum was going for lunch with my Aunty for her 65th birthday and invited me along , I said ye where we going then I remembered seeing something on their fb page about a free birthday meal so I mentioned it in the car going to restaurant. We mentioned it when we arrived , and unfortunately as it was only the 3 of us we couldn’t get the free meal for my Aunty as has to be a party of 4 for free bday meal, which we weren’t bothered about as we just remembered when in car and happy to pay for meal anyways. But my Aunty was offered a free cocktail as it’s her birthday, which she was chuffed with. Last twice I’ve went As I’m vegetarian and I like curry sauce with my rice and noodles the waiter has got me a separate bowl for curry sauce for me to dip my food, which is very considerate. We all enjoyed our meal today with lovely attentive staff. Then my mum goes to pay the bill and the gentleman at the bar I think maybe the manager , offered a cake and a candle and for the waiters to sing happy birthday to my Aunty which they did and was a lovely surprise for my Aunty she was so touched. We also visited the beginning of Jan for a meal me my mum and dad and mum had a problem with her card she forgot her pin and it wouldn’t let her do contactless and it was a bit of a hassle trying to pay totally our fault but we paid with another card but the staff were really lovely and understanding and said take as much time as you need. I’m not a big person for going out to eat as I’m fussy being a veggie and I like cooking my own meals , but the customer service here and food is just brilliant. I really feel this place is a well run environment with happy staff & that really shines through on the customer service. Only thing I would say is maybe as a tofu option in the buffet for us veggies and vegans. Thank you for making my...
Read moreHad booked this place for me, my wife and asked for space for pram. I booked this 4 days before arrival and had booked it for 5pm. When I turned up the girl with the blonde hair with tattoos on her neck was less than helpful, basically asking us are we sure we booked? I phoned in excess of 30 times to get through to the place so I’m certain I booked. I then had to pull up my recent calls on my phone to prove I had called their establishment. It took another member of staff presumably a manager to come over and say it was fine. She then proceeded to point to our table and made no effort to assist us to our seats or clear another seat away to make room for a pram. Not that I expect this because I’m capable of creating space for my child myself but in nearly all other places the staff are so kind and do this for us.
The food was okay, I don’t have much complaint there, wouldn’t say it was great but it was okay.
When I went to pay for the bill the same girl was behind the till area and handed me a bill charging us for two full price buffets when I had a voucher (which was shown to her on arrival) when I said table 9 she stated did I tell them I had a voucher and I said yeah I showed it to you. She basically in so many words said I didn’t. The same manager came over and he luckily remembered and I only paid for the drinks we had as the money for the voucher was taken off.
Not a great experience for us on our first visit which has sadly meant we won’t be in any...
Read moreSo, upon arrival, we were met with a very very loud group by the door shouting and roaring, which is fine if at any point they'd have been asked to tone it down, they didn't get asked.
That's not really a major issue however, the cost you pay for a buffet (which yes does have a truly amazing variety of foods) is not at all worth it because the quality of around 60% of the food is either not what the label says it is, or it's just wrong.
The chasni in all seriousness tasted like dog food. I'm not exaggerating and in not playing the joker. It is the truth. It tasted like dog food.
I had Chinese chicken, which was very nice. I can't complain alongside some cardboard like and overpoweringly flavoured pakora.
I had naan, which was dryer than a flipflop left on a pavement in eqaudor and I had korma, that was tasteless and some rice, which was okay, it's rice it's not really ever going to be incredible.
Overall, cost to qaulity was utterly shocking
My partner however claims to have enjoyed everything she had, and for that I've bumped the scores up a touch, she has similar standard to mine
Overall I personally don't care for the food here and the atmosphere is just loud...
I'll go back on the half off deal with my partner in an attempt to find somethin worth eating that isn't just one item,...
