Asian Kitchen — Restaurant in Scotland

We are in Scotland from Southern California celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary. So we decided to eat here to comment rate the moment. we made reservations earlier in the day, and when we arrived, our table was set and ready nestled a corner where we would have some privacy. This wonderful touch the theme for the evening.

Our waitress, Anna, was attentive, friendly, and delightful, without being intrusive in anyway. We opted for the fried dumplings as a starter, spicy Korean chicken Bulgogi as a main with Roasted duck noodles, and steamed rice as our sides.

We took our time eating, and we’re never rushed. Each dish that came out was presented wonderfully and beautifully. The main included a bit of flare that you’ll notice in the video. The flavors were deep, rich, and layered. The portions were generous, and what we ordered was easily enough for both of us. In fact, we had leftovers that we will enjoy tomorrow for lunch. we opted for the house Merlot, which was a beautiful little wine at a good price for Restaurant.

This is one of those times where you wish you could give more than five stars. We were a bit surprised that the place wasn’t packed. With the quality of the food, the service, and the overall attentiveness it was surprising. The prices were very reasonable and if this lovely restaurant were in our hometown we would be regulars.

I have dined at this location on two occasions.

My first visit was a dine-in meal with my partner, we were welcomed by a woman who was the manager she offered us seating next to the radiator as my partner was shivering after coming in from the cold weather.

She gave a us our menus and walked us through what she’d recommend, in the end my partner had the sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style and I had two bowls of salt and pepper chips, chicken fried rice and home made prawn crackers with some dips.

I can comfortably say that this is the best Asian dining experience I have ever had.

The second time I dined was a takeaway, the restaurant was very busy with collections and dine in customers. I was kept updated and when provided my food I was offered a complimentary drink due to the delay which I thought was a lovely touch.

What a restaurant! First impressions when we walked in was wow, love the decor and the warm welcome we got.

The table was beautifully laid out and the waitress was very nice who brought us out some crackers and took our order quickly and our starters were out in no time.

My colleague had the spicy prawn soup and I had the spicy pork soup, both were very nice with a lovely kick to it and came with some nice crackers we've not had before.

The mains .... Wow 😯!!! Both had the Volcano chicken and it came out in these glass boxes... Then they poured water into the base and smoke came out... Beautifully presented and tasted even better.
