I have never been in a place that serves such good food making you feel satisfied and wanting more but at the same time leaves you dreading the waiter coming back to the table. Right from the moment we walked in the waiter was abrupt and rude. He asked us for our drinks order without making eye contact as he was too busy looking around the room (confirmed when a table of 4 ended up with 3 drinks). The starters arrived and were fantastic the waiter came back to clear the table and we asked for another round of drinks and we were told to be patient he would be back to take the order soon. He came back as our main was being served then got frustrated at the fact his colleague was getting all the attention as he was trying to put the food in front of the right person. We seen the size of the nans and instantly decided we would need another one. When it arrived we got into trouble because we didn’t order it when we ordered the rest of the food. The mains were absolutely fantastic I genuinely cannot fault any of the food on the table. The waiter returns to clear the table and asks if we would like anything else. We asked for the bill and it arrived with a “we need the table for another set can we leave”. I still had half my drink left!!!! Read moreCan't complain about the food we all received and atmosphere ok a bit crammed and every table full but was a Saturday night so was expecting that...... but!! The service was diabolical the waiter was rushing us from the minute we Sat down no eye contact constantly looking at other tables and customers, when we asked a question it was abrupt and not very informative , food came quickly and was good and hot and every one of us enjoyed it... but then we were basically asked to leave as they needed the table, my friend had half a pint left and the girls needed the toilet before we left and you could see them giving us daggers because we were sitting relaxing after spending £130. All in all food good but would not drive out to inverurie from Aberdeen again, plenty restaurants in Aberdeen with same quality of food with miles...
Read moreI work all over Scotland, I'm currently working in Inverurie for a couple of months. I decided to try the Rajpoot Indian Restaurant. I was going to get a takeaway but decided to chance it and ask for a table for one. Yes, I am that guy... The gentlemen there were very welcoming, and managed to fit me in. Delighted. I ordered my starters and mains. I asked for them to be taken out together as I didn't want to be the reason someone was held up waiting on my table. It's the very least I could do to thank them for fitting me in. The food was very well presented. And above all, absolutely delicious. Especially the Chicken Vindaloo, a good guage of how I rate Indian food. How good is the vindaloo? Very. If you love Indian food as I do, I highly recommend the Rajpoot. Remember to book ahead, as the restaurant filled up...
