Very happy with this fish and chips. It had 1 and a half fillets which is pretty great when you're knackered after a hike! A portion was £7.20 which is cheap compared to where I live in Edinburgh. They were also freshly battered and cooked for us. The batter is a little different to most chippies, definitely less greasy which is a plus for me.

Absolutely worse chicken Maryland and chips my partner has ever had. Chicken was half decent but the cheap sausages, overcooked banana fritters (no syrup), cheap onion rings were awful. Chips were scraps from the bottom of the hot box Dreadful

Used to be our favourite Chinese for years. Since changed hand we been always disappointed. But my wife wanted the fish and chips. Awful chips, just the end cut and not what expected. Utter rubbish That’s a definite never again from me.

So this Review is based on multiple visits during Many months, Can't Fault the friendly Staff and you get served very Quickly. The food can be really good 5 Stars in fact but for some reasons some days it can be so greasy and Dripping with Oil it's just not edible at all. Sad face. 😞

Edit: 🙂 at a lost end I returned here one night and the food was great. Notice the staff had changed slightly and so chanced a return visit and the food was amazing again

Skip forward over 12 months off fairly regular visits and I've not been let down once. Hot crisp tasty suppers every time. Much better Experience to as current staff fast, efficient and friendly.

Called for delivery, waited over an hour, when food arrived it was not even hot Luke warm to cold, called again to complain new order was taking waited an hour again but this time food was bit hotter than the first, delivery drivers do not use food heating bags to keep food warm so when order is leaving the shop it's straight into a carrier bag to customers address .

Delivery driver has confirmed that shop cooks food in advance Which is not right as per food hygiene legislation. We will not be back and a full complaint will be made to PKC FOOD STANDARDS REGARDING...
