What on earth has happened to the Avonbridge?? I used to be a regular visitor over the last 40 odd years, great family celebrations, Xmas and New Year meals and parties, always a brilliant atmosphere and exceptional service. I hadn't been to Avonbridge in a few years but went last night with a friend for a meal and drinks at Bar Milano and it was dire...we had reserved a table, the booth we were shown to, seat all ripped like someone had put a knife along it, full of neds in their trackies and hoodie, looked definitely underage, music was way too loud, couldn't have proper conversation. There was a really horrible smell like bad drains. This place has gone way downhill and lost all its charm and atmosphere, very sad to see, needless to say I will never be...

The food was exceptional the pizzas tasted superb and all our party were impressed. The initial drinks service was on point and prompt but the follow up drinks service appeared to be great on other table but we had to beckon staff over to ours or even go to the bar... after acknowledgement of our drinks order we still had to wait 30 mins for the drinks to arrive and even then they were still wrong. A great disappointment when the venue had came recommended from friends and the DJ who was hosting our wedding later in the week. Sadly I wouldn't return for the service but the food...

We went for a birthday party and ate enough that we couldn't face eating cake after we went home. The food was very tasty and we had a small child with us. The staff made a big deal of him and acommodated us very well. The food was very good. I'd recommend the onion rings as a side. Child portions were generous. Our portions were generous. The staff were very helpful and the setting was clean and free of clutter with plenty of space. The car park is a touch on the small side but I have no other issues. My measure is, would I go back?
