Bayne's the Family Bakers — Restaurant in Scotland

This bakers has gotten worse since everything kind off re opened again when during lock down staff were great .. now they ignore customers don't tell you there a price increase all they is tea has never in the deal with a hot roll .so why for the last 6 years have I managed to get a hot roll and a tea in the deal but yet today its suddenly not but no notice to say this or staff tell you especially since you go in every day .. a simple courtesy to say there been a price increase bit no all I got was tea has never been included ... and the manager is so miserable she needs a new jobs...

Haven't been to a Bayne's for years. Had occasion to look for a specific type cake fkr visitors. Called in to shop, found what I wanted. The assistant who dealt with me was lovely, even explained to two children with me all about the cakes they had chosen for themself. Came out and I along with ither adults in party comnented on how rare it is to find such a helpful and pleasant young assistant in shops nowadays. I really regret not getting the young lady's name. I have stopped going here because the service is sooo slow. A particular staff member Lauren is far too laid back. Stops for chats inbetween serving customers and moves at the pace of a snail. It’s not this one staff member who is to blame she should receive more training. A lot of colleagues notice too and being in the building trade we can’t afford to wait 20 mins for a coffee.
