Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in Scotland

I was really looking forward to Starbucks opening as I go to the Costa in Darnley every morning which is not on my route. I have been repeatedly quite shocked by the customer service here. I understand having worked in the public sector for years that it can be difficult to always be happy and smiley but there just seems to be a general theme of blunt and sometimes just rude staff (with some exceptions of course). The other day I ordered my drink and received the response "what?" To which I replied sorry what? To then be asked what I wanted so I asked sorry did you get any of the order or you didn't hear any of it and the reply I received was "just repeat the whole thing". No apology no sorry could I ask you to repeat that nothing just "what?". On another occasion I ordered the same drink I order everyday to be told that's not a drink they make. So when I explained I order it here daily the response was "right so what was it?" It totally puts me off using this store. There are of course more important things in the world to worry about but it really puts me off going as bad customer service can really ruin someone's mood. I would much rather go out of my way to drive somewhere else where I know I will have a pleasant interaction. Sorry for the negative feedback I know you are a new store and it takes time to find your feet but I just don't think there's any good excuse for consistent bad...

Hi my name is Hira and i wanted to leave this fabulous review for the two girls that work in Starbuck Barrhead. Their names are Lani and Neave honestly they are just stars.🤗They are the best baristas out there. They are so nice really kind and incredibly polite. And they make the perfect coffee always for me, well i bet they do that for everyone but i cannot recommend this Starbucks enough the staff is amazing but Lani and Neave are just stars of this coffee shop. A big big shoutout to them, keep up the hard work am sure your manger will be proud of you. I have recomended my freinds my family and to the world to now. I had such a lovely experience at the Starbucks Barrhead Drive-Thru! The coffee was absolutely amazing — perfectly made and just what I needed to start my day. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was so polite, friendly, and patient, even during a busy time.

To top it all off, when I received my coffee, there was a beautiful handwritten message on the cup that said, “Have a great day.” It was such a small gesture, but it really cheered me up and put a smile on my face. Little things like that make a big difference — thank you to the team for going the extra mile!
