A wee Gem of a place! So glad we decided to pop into West Kilbride for a wee look around. We were made very welcome when we arrived and were offered a choice of tables. There was a great high chair available for our Granddaughter so we were all set! The menu is up on wee slate boards along the walls, with specials changing often, we were told, according to local ingredients available. The soup was delicious and was served with a warm roll and butter. The bacon rolls were absolutely delicious. What made our day though was the patter from the owner, he was hysterical! What a great character! Chatting away with all the customers and keeping us all laughing! Great fun. We took away a couple of his homemade scones and he told us that his wife baked everything else, and it all looked delicious. Wanted to share to warn people of threatening behaviour and language. A shame as west Kilbride town...
