Blueberrys — Restaurant in Scotland

So disappointed in this place! Stayed in Troon almost a year and always fancied trying Blueberry's. Went along and saw it wasn't very busy but Drift next door was packed. We were in a bit of a hurry so decided to get our 4 rolls to takeaway from Blueberry's assuming because it was quiet it wouldn't take that long. There were people at 2 tables and both already had their food so our food order was the only one placed at that time. From ordering to leaving the cafe took 20 minutes and given how we only ordered 4 rolls that's ridiculous for a takeaway. Also asked for 2 of the rolls to have sauce which we discovered after leaving the cafe never had any. All in the rolls were OK but waiting that long for such a simple order ruined it. I'd hate to see how long an order would take if the place actually was busy. Maybe there's a reason why Drift next door was...

My favourite Troon café. Lovely selection of cakes and scones. The cappuccino was the best ever. Ively and fresh and clean! Moreover the staff were incredibly patient as we kept changing our minds and order.

Edit Aug 2023 We visit Troon regularly and this is my favourite cafe. I love the decor furnishings and relaxing ambience. Visited twice last week. Once for coffee and cake and the cappuccino was perfectly balanced and the right temperature for my taste. Delicious date and walnut cake. The second time we were lucky to get a table as there was a continual flow of hopeful customers, always a good sign of quality. In any case if more tables were pushed in the atmosphere wouldn't be so pleasant and the service not as good. Been coming here for about 4 weeks every Saturday and the lentil soup is amazing but is getting smaller dont know if is a new chef but still very good the best i taste for a long time and the bree sandwich with cramberry sauce and walnut is great with fresh bread and very tasty. Be back again love it. Very friendly staff and very good service don't have to wait long for the order to be taken. The place is very clean. Next to the beach. Back again last saturday and all ok good service, clean place, nice staff, great food but my soup seems to be getting smaller every week.
