After a 1/2 day walking round the Mugdock park and castles. I popped in for a coffee and a couple of hot chocolates for the kids. From the minute you walk in you can see a lot of effort has gone in to the interior design. It is an almost perfect blend between old and new with bright colours and contrasting furniture. The main seating area has these cool nooks with little benches for the wee folk in tow. The wide sky lights (even on the dullest day like when we were there) makes the paint seem almost like it's glowing. The staff were super friendly and didn't charge extra for the cream and marshmallows on the kids hot chocolate which I thought was a really nice touch. One of the staff members even took time out to explain a little of the history of the space and what it went from and how it became. All in, a great visit although short and if you do visit the park, you'll find the best coffee here and not in the garden centre.

Funky little cafe hidden in Troon. Great friendly, welcoming staff and great food. I'm always up for adventurous tasting so the beetroot latte caught my eye. I was pleasently surprised. Open sourdough breakfast was also quite good. Really loved my experience.

Lovely coffee, friendly staff. Had a couple of flat whites and sarnies and sat outside in the temperamental Ayrshire sunshine. Friendly vibes and great coffee. Also dog friendly (outside). Would recommend!

Avoid at all costs manager has a passive aggressive attitude and an empty shop. As if it’s our fault the coffee shop has no coffee ???she pointed out in a manner which was unacceptable that she only had what was in the plastic holder and at no time did we all feel welcome. We felt we were in the way. We were the customer!!!I it is true I spoke to you about Murdock not as good as Troon as the girls in Troon were lovely. Since this girl has been made manager it has not been so good. I also said last time how the other girl was great and you should keep her. I praise good and I also review...

Stopped in for a wee coffee and cake. Coffee was really good quality coffee, not bitter at all. I usually have to add sugar to my coffee as I find the beans are usually burnt in the roasting process, (Starbucks and Costa, I'm looking at you!), But this was a nice, smooth, well rounded coffee and a pleasure to drink. Had a wee chocolate brownie with my drink and I think it was one of the best that I have tasted for a long time. Dark chocolate was smooth, rich and completely decadent. Prices are very favourable and good service. Will be...
