UPDATE: THIS WAS NOT A SHARED BILL!!! We asked for our bill seperate and you DID overcharge us. You even told me on the phone that as a good will gesture , you'd refund us but because i was shouting over the phone im not getting it back....!As you can see, the "manager" comes on and responds like he cares, trust me, this wasn't how he spoke to me on the phone. I stuck to what you called "threats" and I have told everyone what you done. They all now questioned if you done the same to them. I explained to you on the phone that my husband just paid the bill not thinking anything off it. It was me who saw on the bank statement and what you had charged us. If I'd have been paying , I'd have questioned you right there and then. Doesn't matter now, we won't be back. I told your regulars this and they said they'll be going elsewhere now. This is all on you!
Went with a large party for a birthday bash ( the crowd we were with are regulars). We specifically asked for a separate bill , infact , I asked twice to make sure it had been done and I was told yes it was separate. At the end of the night my hubby asked for our bill and he paid it. The following day I checked and we had been charged quite a bit over . I called the following day to query it and was told the manager would call me on Tuesday. Needless to say, I didn't get a call. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured they'd call me on the Wednesday. No call came. I've just called them just now (Saturday) and got the speak to the "manager". Basically called me a liar saying I could just be saying that I'd been overcharged. He was rude, abrupt, talking over me, not letting me speak then accused me of threatening him because I said I was gonna do a review and I'd be telling the crowd what I've just experienced. I can tell you now, we won't be eating there again. Nasty manager with zero experience concerning customer satisfaction!!! Last nights experience topped it. I waited 1h 45m for delivery. The website does state normally 60-90 minutes though sometimes can be longer. I would not reccomend buying at peak hours across the weekend, they clearly cannot handle the capacity or manage the process correctly. Smaller local take aways do not have such excessive delivery times during peak times. I do not believe a well oiled business should have such excessive delivery times nevertheless that was not the issue. The food was cold, some lukewarm at best, the curry container was crushed at the bottom of the bag, spilled across the other food and the poppadoms smashed into pieces. Considering the food was cold it suggests it is not a matter of the kitchen capacity but rather the management of the delivery process which an experienced business like dreams should have mastered. If you are going to have people waiting such a long time the food must arrive warm and in one piece. My family have been customers since it opened, Bombay dreams can be the best food in Cumbernauld on its day and it pains me to write such a review. Bombay dreams has become Jekyll and Hyde, whether that be the quality of the food or the ordeal I have detailed. You simply do not know what you are going to get anymore. Bombay dreams is a restaurant and you pay the appropriate premium. In turn you expect a certain degree of quality and even a cheap takeaway should never be deliverying cold food nor food that looks like its been in a boxing match. Read moreTerrible service.What I ordered was not what I received and when I phoned to inform the restaurant the response was "what do you want me to do about it". seems like Bombay dreams are very happy to take your money but when they get it wrong they won't acknowledge there mistake or worse yet they won't fix there mistake. The management at Bombay dreams seem very happy to take your money and then just give you a very poor meal.I believe if you pay extra for something then you should receive this ,yet Bombay dreams take the money you pay and just give you a basic chicken curry .instead of admitting they made a mistake they go all out to cover they tracks .The meal in question I'm complaining about is the chicken tikka makali handai.what I received was a chickeb curry that was full to the brim with oil ,no veg and no chicken tikka ,just basic chicken.When I complained and even sent them the photos of my joke of a meal ,they finally got back to me with all sorts of excuses,and this was just a few of there responses, sometimes Currys are very oily,the curry doesn't come with vegetables (on there menu it clearly states onion and peppers) and the best excuse yet was that the curry doesn't come with chicken tikka .What an absolute joke.As I said Bombay dreams are very happy to take your money yet delivery an extremely poor service.
