Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Scotland

What excellent service we had yesterday at the large Costa in the Antonine Centre in Cumbernauld, the one near to TJ Hughes in the concourse (open area of the centre). It was a busy time and the staff were very attentive and enjoying doing their job and caring about their customers, even helping choose our delicious cakes. We arrived about 3pm on Wednesday 14th October. It was my first coffee out since the Pandemic. We were made to feel welcome and at ease with one Costa colleague in particular a young man who checked we had completed our track and trace, whilst he swept up and cleaned tables. I was with my son and his wife and baby and we were standing in the busy queue, when he suggested the perfect table for us which he sanitised and showed us to. When we got up to leave he was there again to offer help with the one way system as we had the pram. We were so impressed! Like most Costa coffee places you are pretty much guaranteed a nice coffee with a good selection of cakes. The service is always good and the staff are very hard working but there is usually quite a long queue. It is very popular and it can be a struggle to get a seat indoors.
