La Bella — Restaurant in Scotland

I came to La Bella with high expectations on a sunny Friday afternoon lunch, my expectations were not met. Despite my pre ordering weeks before, they failed to provide. With an hour long wait they only managed to serve me with a glass of water with a side of disrespect. They force students to work here also, an anonymous name in specific. We have now finished our waters and are sitting aimlessly staring at the ceiling. Shocking. With everyone else in the resturaunt being served the only thing I had been served was the fake promise of mozzeralla sticks. I'm now sat here with my tummy rumbling waiting for my second course of dissapointment. Upon final arrival of my starter I was greeted with 2 of the finest bog average mozzerella sticks I have tasted and with my water gone I'm sat with nothing to wash done the dry taste of dismay. I'm now sat waiting for my main with expectations lower than a limbo pole. To be honest the main did over see my expectations, not like that was a hard task, as the main i was served was a pepperoni pizza, nothing too out the ordinary just an average resturaunt standard pizza. With my meal finished I will be leaving with a lollypop and my loss of respect for La Bella. Overall, looking at all aspects of the restuarant such as aesthetics, food, service and customers I don't plan to make a return to Le Bella.

I had ordered pollo Pepe with chips as a main course, my husband ordered mushroom starter and polo Milanese. My husbands meal was satisfactory unlike my dish, I cut a peice of chicken and the texture seemed strange, the chicken was pale looking and a slimy texture, my husband tried a piece as well and confirmed that it wasn’t very nice. After only having two bites of chicken I left the majority because it wasn’t very pleasant to taste, The waiter had asked me,” was there something wrong with the chicken” to which I said “ it didn’t taste very nice “ he took the plate away and asked if I wanted anything else, which I refused. When paying I did expect him to deduct the cost of the chicken, he didn’t and when I questioned him about the charge he started to converse in Turkish in front of me to another member of staff and he was clearly discussing the situation, so I asked him to speak in English so I could understand, he explained that if I had a problem I was to talk to the manager who was on Holiday in Turkey, the cost of the chips and pepper sauce turned out to be £20 and no offer of a refund for the bland slimy chicken that was dished up, I found the staff dealing with the complaint very rude and not...

My partner and I visit La Bella frequently, last night we had a table booked for 8pm and as always the full night was truly worth 5 ⭐️ We are always taken care of from entering the restaurant to leaving, the waiters and manager are always so chatty and welcoming. Last night was very busy and the atmosphere was great, everyone was happy and enjoying themselves. Both my and my partners meal were impeccable, from how quickly we were served them to the taste, was amazing! All the staff were so attentive with drinks, seasoning if you wanted any, check backs to see if you were enjoying your meal. Each member of staff knew where they had to be and what had to be done, so professional and friendly! As I am pregnant and due soon I don’t get to go out much anymore so when I do it’s that bit more important to me. The weekend previously my partner and I went to the Boathouse and it’s was absolutely terrible, from the atmosphere to the meal, a complete waste of time and money.
