I didn’t stay at the hotel, however we visited the cafe while staying at RudhaNaCraig Guest House (walking distance) from the town. Heather was an incredible server! She was quick, kind, and pointed us in the right direction Sids Vintage shop (next to the jail). So check those places out. Pumpkin chai: 10/10. Flavorful, aromatic, and a big ole scoop of delicious whipped cream ontop. Sausage roll: 10/10. pastry was so beautifully layered and the sausage was made that morning. Yum! Leek & potato soup was great too. Sticky toffee pudding: 12/10 EXCELLENT. My husband loved it and so far has been his favorite one in our travels. Definitely stop by and stay a while!

So glad we missed breakfast at the George because they recommended we head in here for something and we were blown away with breakfast. My partner got the full Scottish, which had the best lorne sausage I have ever tasted in it and I got french toast, which was so soft and eggy and sweet. Always pleased when I can have an oat milk coffee as well. All in all Brambles is very cute inside, feels homey, staff are lovely, chef's should be very happy with themselves because that food is soooo good. Very reasonably priced as well considering everything is local and of very good quality. Wishing I wasn't so far away

We stopped by Brambles on the High Street for breakfast and were really impressed. The food was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented — a proper hearty start to the day. There’s a great variety on the menu, with plenty of tempting options for lunch too. It’s clearly a popular place, and with good reason — the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. You really get a sense of that classic Highland hospitality. Whether you’re after a relaxed breakfast, a coffee break, or a satisfying lunch, Brambles hits the mark. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town!

The room was beautiful, with a huge massively comfortable bed. I absolutely loved the bathroom with the freestanding claw foot tub, and powerful shower. There was some lovely fresh ground coffee from the coffee shop below, and the staff were more than happy to get extras for me in the morning. The employees couldn’t have been nicer.

I hate having to criticise this place but it wasn’t perfect considering the cost. I stayed in a B&B close by that was able to provide a mini fridge and fresh milk.

Please note the main road is pretty busy with trucks and cars through, and that the rooms have beautiful sash windows (which are mostly likely original and can’t be replaced) and they do not provide a lot of protection from the noise of the street.

It’s less of a hotel and more a number of rooms attached to a cafe on the other side of a busy street. When they forgot to leave cups for us we had to go outside, cross the road and go into the cafe to get them. There’s a number to ring for when the cafe is closed but the rooms don’t have phones.

There were no bath products with that amazing bath! I used the shower gel which was attached to the wall, bit of a shame.

Breakfast in the cafe is good, good choice and freshly made. It doesn’t feel like a hotel breakfast though, as you can’t get extra toast or have fresh fruit or cereal before the cooked food. I had eggs Benedict which was nice but the hollandaise tasted more like mayonnaise. They had a note on the menu which said you couldn’t swap out any ingredients which is weird as any cafe would allow you to...

READ FULL REVIEW.I recently visited BRAMBLES cafe/restaurant on invereray main street for some lunch with my brother.after having a chat regarding what the venison was like I then ordered it,after receiving my order and two bites into my burger I realised it was a vegetarian burger,I informed staff and was told someone pressed the wrong order button(I was offered to a discount on the burger even though I hadn't ate much of it due to it not tasting nice) and they waved the cost of a coke too, basically I got charged £6.50 for eating about 10 chips,I was offered what I ordered originally but by that time my brother was just about finished his lunch and I didn't want to wait any longer, when paying the bill by contactless payment I noticed the total was £33.30,I then questioned that as my brother had nice fish+chips and a coke too,I was then told "oh that's another tables bill)I was going to buy some nice home baking to take home but I was afraid of potentially getting charged a fiver for a sausage roll or something stupid, all in all it wasn't a nice experience from start to finish,I'll definitely not be back, I must stress that this was the cafe on the main Street and not the main hotel. Imagine what would happen if someone had an allergy to any ingredients in the veggie burger.i hate to think . On the plus side VICTORIA at brambles has since contacted me and was extremely apologetic+offered me a complimentary lunch the next time I'm in invereray, so big...

The location is terrific right on the main street of Inveraray. As other reviewers have mentioned parking is a little tricky during the day, but if you do a Google search while you stay there for "free parking", you'll find a few locations that you can use that aren't too far away. They made it really easy to log on to their wifi, but the signal is pretty weak and a few times I had to go into the hallway to pick up a strong enough signal. The room and bathroom were both large, and the bathroom was especially nice and clean. My wife and I were both impressed when we first walked into it. We did notice the walls are fairly thin; we had some noisy folks coming in late at night and talking loudly that we heard for a while into the night. In addition to the neighbors, we could also hear folks on the street since we were facing the main road. But the rooms were comfortable and immaculate, and the location is excellent. The breakfast is in their affiliated cafe downstairs so this isn't setup like a typical B&B, but they seat you in the back which give a little more privacy. The food was good, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. The price was also very reasonable so it's a good value, especially given...
