Walked in to Bramley's having been recommended by a local just along the road. Upon walking in we're being looked at like aliens rather than be asked if we're sitting in or anything. Had to imply if we just take a seat (while still being stared at by all the staff standing around). Anyway, we take a seat in the cafe, nice decor nice place to have a chill morning.
Breakfast rolls were disapointing, not bad, but, for the money that they cost I felt like we would have been better either trying something else (seeing as most reviews say items like the soups are nice) or going somewhere else. Coffees were nice but there was some bits of the grinds floating about in both, no biggie.
When trying to pay, we let someone know at the counter who then promptly walked past us without saying a word. Fair enough, she might have been busy but at least tell you customers that someone will get their bill for them rather than being ignorant.
Overall, I would probably try other items on their menu but having seen other reviews talking about kind and helpful staff I was left wondering if we were even in the right place - it looked like everyone was getting the same dull, I don't want to be...

We were greeted by a nice lady who asked if we wanted to sit indoors or out, we didn't expect there to be much of a outdoor garden but as we wanted just drinks and the cafe was fairly busy still we opted to sit out .the outdoor area is huge and the tables and chairs are nice and bright, they look after the area well. We didn't have to wait to have our order taken , the tea was of nice quality and the San pellegrino was nice to see after a warm afternoon.reasonably priced too , nice staff, impressive...
Read moreBramleys is definitely our favourite cafe in Prestwick to sit in and also on days that we need a take away. Nothing better than enjoying a Bramleys home made soup and sandwich at home when you’re busy. The food is always very fresh and tasty And a great choice. There is a lovely garden at the back to sit out on nicer days and it is being expanded and done up just now so it will be even nicer. It’s a real sun trap. The staff are very attentive and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. They also do a rewards scheme for your coffees. Would definitely...
