Flakes Dessert Parlour — Restaurant in Scotland

After having dinner out we went to Flakes on the way home to get an order for my son. There was one other person in front of me at the shop and they were receiving online orders too. 3 people came and got served and left while I was still waiting; a girl said it wouldn't be long. Then after more ppl being served and leaving and my order still not there; me standing there looking at them….I asked again how long,…they then scurried about and cane back to ask what I had ordered as had no idea what it was! It was one hot cookie dough…and they saw me standing there for 35mins. Not an apology or discount offered. I waited 50mins in the end, had to tell my family who were waiting in the car to go home and come back for me. You would think they would of had the sense to check what my order was or why I was still standing there after 35 mins while other people that offered there and then got served and were away,

Ingredients are not of a high quality, the item was ok but probably not worth the wait and money. The kitchen area was messy and seemed a bit disorganised. Customer service...

I came here with my sister and boyfriend on Sunday, we already had dinner and decided to come here for pudding. It's just off Prestwick main street so very easy to get it. It was relatively busy but we got a table. I had the King Ferrero Belgian Waffle and oh my god. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. The waffle itself was warm and soft. Ferrero Roche balls were cut in half and put on the waffle with melted Nutella drizzled over the top. They put a scoop of vanilla ice cream at the side. This wasn't shop bought ice cream as it was too good. I think they make it themselves. My sister got the cookie dough and she loved it. Don't get me wrong, the dessert looked and tasted amazing but what I found in the waffle i ordered disgusted me. It was a label ( barcode sticker) in my waffle! I picked it out of my mouth! Yes MOUTH! And examine it, the first excuse that came into my head was that it was one of those edible labels that you get made out of sugar paper ( edible paper)but as I started to bend it, it didn't break neither did fear in any way.
