After parking, which was easy, we entered the eatery and was greeted, firstly by the amazing aromas of coffee and food, then by our lovely waitress with her warm welcoming smile. We were seated... by the radiator, I might add! We were given our menus and a drinks order taken, which was a flat white with caramel along with a latte. My latte was very welcomed with cold open hands awaiting eagerly for the heat of this, what turned out to be, well, hot liquid velvet. It was wonderful. Our food order consisted of the 6oz burger with bacon and cheese with the largest chips I have ever seen. Like, I mean take an old Nokia and cut it in four...I kid you not, they were huuuge. Sadly, I didn't capture a photo... There wasn't time for that, i did get the cakes though😉. I decided on having a tuna melt. After having clocked the cake counter, I was for sure leaving room. It came served with coleslaw and side salad, which looked amazing. Now the best bit...cake. I had for myself, after a lot of indecision carrot cake. It really is as good as it looks. Dense, moist, fruity, spicy and buttery, a small slice of heaven on a plate. My partner had a fruit scone with jam and butter. It was also large, waaay bigger than a tea cup! I didn't get a taste, but it looked really good. The spiced pear scone was my other choice. I feel that the prices are very fair in return for what you get. Great food, great atmosphere and great staff At the end of the day, I have my doubts about eating out. Very few places " thrill me" truth be told. But this wee nugget did just that. I can't wait to go back to sample more of that amazing food, a huge kudos for the kitchen is deserved. You really will have to find out for yourself...til I go back and take photos.

Campbells Coffee House Eatery in Falkland provided us with a delightful dining experience after a beautiful walk through Falkland Palace. 🥔✨ This charming eatery in the magical village of Falkland added to the wonderful memories we created during our stay in Scotland. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal after exploring the historic sights. The food, with its delicious potato-based dishes, was hearty and comforting, showcasing the flavors that Scotland is famous for. 🍽️ Falkland and its treasures, like Campbells Coffee House, truly made our visit special. We can't wait to return one day and hope everything remains just as magical as we remember. 🌟 #CampbellsCoffeeHouse #Falkland #ScottishCuisine #FalklandPalace #DiningInScotland

So we (wife & I) were continuing on our “Outlander” trail and it brought us to Falkland. We did our spots to get our photos, and decided to have lunch before moving on at Campbell’s coffee house & Eatery. From the outside it’s quite understated, but opening the door and it’s a very modern look. It was clean throughout, and spotless in the toilets. Was a bit surprised to have to wait to be seated, as it’s not the biggest Café, but it sort of makes sense as the tables are made up of 2’s, 3’s and 4’s. Once seated it wasn’t long before we had our order taken, and again didn’t have to wait long before the coffees and food arrived. The food tasted good, and there was a good variety on the menu. Would we go back? Yes we would

This place is litterly amazing!!!

The staff are just beyond words they are simply the best and so accommodating.

I chose the lovely steak and I asked if I could get the root vegetables and truffle mash and chose the caramelised onion gravy which they did not mind whatsoever. Proving they go above and beyond to be customer focused.

To say it was out of the world delicious does not do justice.

The only negatives I could give was that the temperature of the restaurant was slightly cold however I noticed the thermostat was set to 20 degrees and considering it was in the winter season and it's old fashioned building it was totally understandable and beyond the control of the owners. Secondly the temperature and pressure of the male toilet was cold and low flow however it might of been me using the tap wrong.

But overall forgetting the temperature and taps it was a true 5 star experience and it was lovely. I have already recommended the place to my friends to take their ladies for valentine's and dates.

Thank you for having me and my mate.

Kind...

I came here with family after visiting the Falkland palace. Made our takeaway order. Wasn’t full, plenty of empty places. We sat at a empty table near the counter whilst we were waiting. The lady gave us a coffee and told us the chips was almost done. Not long after the lady asked us to wait outside on the bench which we did. However we did find this odd as why they would ask us to wait outside if there were empty places inside and also there are no longer covid restrictions. Didn’t feel nice to wait around outside. Anyways the lady came with our chips and we asked her why we were told to go outside. She told us that is what they do for takeaways but if that was the case, why not tell us from before. We let her know, we weren’t happy that there was no clear communication and instruction if they have a rule regarding takeaway. I didn’t get a good customer experience from that although the lady did apologise, which I appreciate. Won’t be...
