Celino's was lovely. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cosy, authentic and welcoming. The menu was a good mix of pastas, salads, pizza's, calzones and meats. We ordered the smorgasbord with types of Italian meats from the in-store deli as well as breads, olives and oils/balsamic. It was delicious. Enough for 2 to share but it is meant for 1. We had a couple sides of mixed olives, garlic bread and cheese and chips. For the main I had the Filletto penne pasta which was delicious. Packed full of flavours with rich tomatoes and garlic, steak was beautifully cooked also. My friend had the Misto De Carne calzone which he said was amazing! My son had the kids margarita pizza which was a very decent size for a kids pizza approx 10". They have a little shop at the front of the restaurant which sells pretty much everything they use in the restaurant and have fantastic 'Celino's at home' kits you can take home. Also they do take away and even if you can't finish what's on your plate they'll box it up for you. Service was great too and they were super helpful. I will definitely be back.

First time in Glasgow, we needed somewhere nice for a hearty lunch to give us the energy for a good walk. These lovely people had the pleasure of our company. Lovely location with lots of natural light, and whilst they'd got plenty of people in the restaurant, it didn't feel overly packed (good acoustic dampening, perhaps). Staff were very helpful and worked hard to make sure we had an appropriate level of attention without pestering. The menu strikes a good balance of choice for carnivores and veggies (and those in-between) without causing option paralysis. Food was lovely and tasty, with a generous portion size that probably satisfies most appetites. The only suggestion I could make is to give a couple more drinks menus as we caused a slight delay choosing. A very minor point, and one that didn't detract from the experience (I just feel guilty when I am keeping waiting staff waiting whilst I choose.) Thank you. If I am in the area in the future I'll be seriously considering another visit.

Get ‘bammed up’ in Cellino’s ! It’s a seductive little environment but it’s massively overpriced and the service is quite pedestrian. Usually the staff behind the deli counter CANNOT even see who arrived first, found myself getting annoyed on numerous occasions because of it. However today that was not the case today a server called ‘Finn’ over charged me by £3.95, my order was just two items a piece of Guanciale and a bottle of beer, he put on £3.95 worth of almonds 🤣 brutal. £9 odd it should’ve been £5 odd, almost left not thinking after the gym then I thought 9 quid!?? They said it was a price check…..whatever that’s meant to mean, the guy simply added an item that I never got. Really poor. I mean it’s not rocket science putting 2 things through a till correctly. Very weird. Unfortunately they stock a few things that are hard to source elsewhere so I continue to endure the poor service at the deli for the most part.

Bought what I thought was a vegetarian pizza slice but after eating half I realised there was pepperoni on it. The ingredients list suggested it was vegetarian and made no mention of meat. I wouldn’t have considered leaving a review about it but when I called to alert them about the mislabelling, they didn’t seem that bothered and made me feel like it was my mistake. I’m a lifelong vegetarian and my friend eats a halal diet. I always check ingredients carefully but the staff member I spoke to said ingredients change and it’s up to customers to inspect the food before eating. I appreciate (and agree) that diners should take more responsibility for what they buy but in this instance, there was nothing on the label to explain that I should inspect the food after reading the ingredients list and in any case, the pepperoni was not visible under the cheese. Please triple check ingredients with staff if you have allergies.

We really liked it here. My family has been going for lunch here quite regularly. It's the first time I managed to join them & it won't be the last. We had the set menu. I had mussels to start which had a supplement but they were delicious. Prawn & courgette pasta for the main & chocolate fudge cake to take home. My mum had the lasagne & it was great too, I stole a taste. She's not a big eater these days but managed the lot. My sister had the seafood risotto, it had a supplement too but she said she'd really enjoyed it. Love the big deli they have in here too. Next time I'll have to take a proper look & buy a few things. Busy so maybe book a table in advance like we did, staff were on the ball & a bit of banter too but didn't rush us. Great experience all round.

Bear this in mind, I only ever give fair and honest reviews, Had celinos recommended to me and me and the wife popped in today , the food absolutely Delicious, with a capital D ....a good busy , vibrant atmosphere, portions are big ...but the service today was a bit hit and miss , and we aren't the most demanding of customer's either . Having been taken to a table , we eventually had to grab one of the girls to just take the initial drink order but her crabbit coupon didn't put us off ordering everything at the one time , Again I'll say the food is great , big portions, carrot cake was best ever tasted ..we weren't going to leave a tip ,but one of the waiting staff " Ben " made up for the lacklustre performance of the torn faced Lassie's serving today
