Coffee Comfort - Greenock — Restaurant in Scotland

I was in today around late lunch with my toddler and myself. Lots of tables had reservations so took a table of 4 without one, I understand space is limited and this was the only place where I could put the baby chair and have storage for the pram, which was folded to make space for others. I noticed that people who turned up after me were getting served before me which I found odd and I was waiting a while to be served. At least five minutes had passed before a waitress said to me "is anyone else joining you?" And I said no. She responded that there was a woman waiting for a table of 4 and therefore I needed to move (I can't recall whether she stated the woman had reserved the table or not). I was asked to move to a table for 2. I initially agreed as I believed the staff would help me move since they inconvenienced me. It's a lot of moving around a folded buggy, a high chair, a toddler and their equipment on your own. I was not asked if I wanted a drink or to order food either. She was expecting me to navigate this small space on my own after asking me to move, which I found rude. I decided to leave as this behaviour is not worth my money or time.

If that table was reserved, it has zero signs to demonstrate this and I would've left it there was. If you tried to move me because there were 4 people who would've brought in more ££ then that's an appalling attitude to have. I wouldn't recommend going here if you have toddlers as you don't take...

This coffee shop has new owners as of April and they have breathed fresh life into what was already a landmark spot in Greenock. The food is absolutely fantastic but nothing compared to the amazing staff who are always so welcoming and helpful. Very friendly, helpful staff. Nice bright surroundings. A great selection of coffee shop style food and snacks. Everyday they have a different main meal special and different soups.
