Costa Coffee situated in the Glasgow Fort is a very welcoming store! The staff couldn't be more helpful & even when extremely busy, they are only to willing to help! This Coffee Shop is a larger store with a good number of washrooms situated to the back to suit everyone's needs. There is the choice of either coffee & a cake, to very tasty snacks, meals & high protein dishes. Vegans, Vegetarians & meat eaters are all catered for! A huge choice of hot & cold drinks are available in either smaller, medium or large sizes. You can sit-in or takeout! Prices are reasonable with the option to collect "Beans." This allows you to enjoy one free drink once you have collected eight beans, which you collect through the Costa App. Gift cards are available instore or online. Disabled access is situated at the main entrance. Opening times; Monday 8am-10pm Tuesday 8am-10pm Wednesday 8am-10pm Thursday 8am-10pm Friday 8am-10pm Saturday 8am-7pm Sunday 9am-7pm.

Despite the long queue, we managed to get into the café after a short wait. A member of staff asked us to use the camera app on our phone to register our details so they could be in touch in case of any coronavirus incidents. Every other table could be used, so that there would be 2m distance between customers' tables. We had two of the limited edition for Christmas sandwiches (one with turkey and one with lobster&cheese), crisps and 2 cakes, the selection was good including seasonal flavours. The café was very clean and the toilets, too.

Came in during lunch, was pretty packed and super busy. Order went pretty easy, went to sit but was asked to wait next to the counter. In the end I ended up with my half of the order and the order of someone else, we managed to resolve this without Costa being involved. The drinks were good but perhaps hire more people if it's a struggle to keep up, it isn't fair to your staff who are great.

I only give bad reviews as a last resort and on this occasion I feel I need to! I am a regular Costa customer as I think their Flat Whites are the best out of all the major coffee chains. Sadly I have given this branch so many chances and should have written this review a long time ago.

Out of all the Costa shops in Glasgow that I frequent this one always has the longest wait to get served despite having 3 serving bays of which I have never seen all 3 open even when it's really busy like a Saturday afternoon etc. I appreciate the fact that it's probably the biggest store out there but please hire more staff as a result of a higher customer flow. The tables seem never to be cleared even in times when it's quiet, are there no designated staff members to do this equally crucial job as watching old people having to juggle their own tray full of hot liquids then have to clear the table at the same time as there are no clean tables around is a complete disgrace. There is an obvious lack of trained staff at this branch as I have lost count of the number of times I have had to return my coffee for many reasons, too cold, not an actual flat white etc. I don't blame the staff but the management of this branch for poor training. The coffee is expensive so I would like to see the service reflect the cost. If other branches can achieve the overall experience What is this one doing wrong?

One more chance to rectify the obvious problems then I think I will defect to Starbucks when I'm...

I am in Costa at least once a day in East Kikbride. Occasionally we pop over to Glasgow Fort, and the Costa here is shockingly bad. The staff look so fed Up, customer service is out the window. Last time we were in we Sat at a table and were huffed at because the staff member was trying to reserve the table for whatever reason. I had no idea when I sat down, that his intentions were to do so, and i would have moved with no issue had he mentioned it to me, rather than huff and puff and roll his eyes. You should never ever let a customer hear you do this, absolutely shocking and totally unlike any customer service I have recieved in my local Costa's. They also never ever have cream if you go any later than 5pm (it's open til 10pm) , rather disappointing. I drink at least one mocha per day from Costa, and i never really enjoy it from here for some reason, always tastes so bitter. Over all i think i would choose not to go here anymore, even tho it's the only Costa in Glasgow...
