Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in Scotland

Maybe the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been in. It is crazy busy and full of bams ordering Frappuccinos. I can currently count 15 people waiting to order and another 12 in the pick up queue. There are also a lot of bam children who don’t seem to buy drinks but just kinda use the place as a social club. The cafe is grubby and the staff don’t have time to clear the tables. As I write this, an unfortunate incident is unfolding. A big fat lady customer started to clear a table herself but then dropped a mug and it smashed on the floor. The staff tried to sweep it up quickly but then she started telling them to clean it later because she wanted to sit down with her daughter and enjoy the tranquility of this place. The staff tried to explain that’s not really an option and the lady stood stage whispering to her daughter ‘isn’t it obvious?’ (That the staff should just do what she tells them to). Very poor indeed! 1 star is to good! Serious questions about hygiene practices as well as the completely inadequate staffing! Food and drinks were not good either. Attended today at 1300 for a lg hot chocolate, m skinny latte, sandwich and fruit toast. All had issues and feel I wasted my money. Unfortunately, as they were so busy complaining was not an option. Bathrooms were disgusting and unclean and when tables were cleaned they just removed papers and dishes but did not wipe or clean anything. Clearly poorly managed and seemed to be short of staff. Staff that were there looked like they would rather be anywhere but there! Very disappointing! Don’t waste your money as they certainly don’t deserve it! This has to be one of the worst coffee shops i have ever been in. You get you high priced coffee and its basicly same as any starbucks just ok. But for you extra money here you get to sitting in a soulless dirty dark almost foreboding place, zero comfort and all the atmosphere was bad. It was strange because it seemed to be some sort of negative experience vortex where customers felt strange so were nippy and staff don't like that so they are grumpy and uncaring and so the circle goes around. When starbucks was created it openly admitted it was about whole esperance like a pub for people to hang out but with coffee. Nope Failed on every level even the coffee was poor.
