Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Scotland

I originally gave this place 4 stars but after my latest visit on Saturday morning. I have to change this to 1 star. Although my Fiance and I very much enjoyed the toast, our drinks were awful. I had tea which had virtually no flavour, despite leaving in the pot for around 7mins and my Fiance had a so called 'latte' which he says tasted awful and had literally no coffee in it so was just milky water 🙁. Unfortunately this was the first time he had visited and will definitely be the last! Loads of tables needed clearing and the 'cheery, helpful staff' referred to by other revewers must have been having a day off! £8.14 for a poor sized microwaved macaroni and a regular sized gingerbread hot choc, not to mention running out of cutlery, prices have been steadily creaking up and up and today I've drawn the line. The coffee shop industry was doing well because people did not want to be extorted by most lunch time resteraunts, however it's now just about the same price or more. The store was a little busy but the two young girls serving couldn't have been more helpful or nice. However there was a member of staff sitting down talking to a couple while the floor was a mess, I couldn't find a clean table so I had to clear one myself. I don't think I seen her clear a table for 15 minutes !!! The manager has to have a serious word with her she should be working...
