Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Scotland

Coffee was alright as much as you can expect from Costa franchise. Staff on the other hand was rather rude and unpleasant. I was standing right beside station door (not Costa's) with cigarette in my hand that was not even sparked when I heard someone shouting in my direction "You can't smoke here, move away to the car park". It was not a station employee tho, It was Costa's employee who was setting outside tables for a day. Every Costa employee should be told one thing at their first day at the job. Don't shout at your potential customers especially at 5.50am. It does not end well for anyone. Guys stick to what you do best. Make us coffee and leave security jobs to people from...

Pot luck as to whether the shop is open or not, when it is, it seems it’s rarely open past 3pm due to staff shortages, constantly. Don’t seem to keep their staff for very long which doesn’t seem surprising. Seems they also just don’t bother ordering stock as there never seems to be much available to choose from. Have been in various Costa stores and this one is by far the worst of all. I’d suggest just giving it up at this point and letting another franchise take it on as they’ll no doubt do...

Absolutely DIRE. Dark and uninviting, all the cold food in sandwich section had the screen down to ensure it can't be sold including made up wraps etc WHY!!!! Hardly any seats as all sectioned off for cleaning. A queue of people couldn't get a seat. Sign up saying closing at 3 and it was filthy. Has to be the worst Costa I have ever been in.
