South Inch — Attraction in Scotland

Just one of those unique green spaces to be found within a city boundry. It is really fantastic to find such pet friendly places and we take full advantage of the lovely walks to be had in and around the south inch park when visiting Perth. The city should be proud of this space which is well maintained, has numerous paths, a pond and a children's play area and is used by tourists and locals alike. Pay and display parking nearby in South Inch Car park which also has a toilet making it easy to recommend this recreational area...

Fab ice cream served by friendly staff at the Pavilion Cafe. Lots of outside seating. They also serve pizzas, baked potatoes, sandwiches etc. The park itself has a huge area for children to play with all manner of apparatus, slides, climbing frames, trampolines etc etc. A slight disappointment is the pond, which has a variety of birds and swans but the water was dirty and sludgy with some litter at the edges. Overall this is a great place to spend time with children, take a picnic...

I really enjoyed the South Inch, of course June '19 the weather has been cracking. My 2 Yr old loved the play area with the slides, swings and sand areas. The cafe was also good, though patience at the register at the pizza servery is somewhat necessary, while the staff, accept, calculate, miscalculate, correct, incorrectly correct, clarify and finally get wrong your order before you have to restate the order.
